Kit comes with the 12 amp battery. Anyone use it with the 9 amp battery with success? Kits out of the budget, but I’ve got a couple of the 9 amp batteries already.
Not planning on cutting up big logs or trees, just small limbs, trees or dead branches.
Got a 20 yo Husqvarna with very low time that was Dads that needs a new carb. But as little as I use one, I’d be doing major work each time I need to use it.

I have one. Works fine on a 9ah. I seldom use mine for more than 5 minutes at a time though.

I have a Stihl that I don’t use often, but I have never had a problem with it starting after I switched to the canned, pre mixed 2 stroke fuel. It is too pricey to use if you are running all the time, but it it is great for infrequent use.

I didn’t think about the premix stuff. Something to consider.
