I saw this in-store yesterday. The 3 tools that are offered as free extras each have a new Fuel counterpart just out, and will probably see clearance pricing on them at some point. As a contractor, I'd prefer the extra oomph that the Fuel technology provides, but a good deal just the same.

Edit: Missed the $299 part, as I was looking at the Sawzall and circular saw ones. Great deal on the other 2, if they honor it.

Tools in the link in the OP are all Fuel. are new models coming out? Is there a lesser grade to Fuel?

The 2797-22 includes Fuel (brushless motor) hammer drill, impact driver and XC 4.0 batteries. The extra tool is not a Fuel motor. Still a great deal, especially the mispriced ones at $299.

CPO is offering the same thing with a huge choice of free tools. Fuel impacts as well.

Looks like HD now has all of the extra tools for their deal on the 2797-22 kits. Still have the kit with grinder or extra battery at $299.

Well the misprice deal is over. HD corrected the price back to $399. Hope someone grabbed the $100 savings while it lasted.

Check cpooutlets.com

I'm not sure if it's a good deal... but the M18 Fuel is really appealing to me, the torque settings would be really useful.

When i bought it, i didn't think i would use the settings much. Boy was i wrong! I LOVE the different settings!!! You have total control for overdriving/underdriving.

Same with the 3/8's impact. I did some light under the dash work in my truck and number 1 setting was the cats *** for the job.

I just got the tracking number for one kit with the free grinder at $299, ordered yesterday. Thanks for posting this, OP.

I'll **** my pants if you get it. That's really cheap. I can't complain about my deal tho. 399 for the kit with an extra battery and a 5" orbital sander.

I noticed there is two versions on CPO... Which one do you have? I was considering the Bosch 1/2 compact until I saw this thread. How's the quality on it? COO is China I suppose? The warranty seems great though.

I have no doubt HD will honor the misprice. Nice score! I have the 2604 Hammer Drill and it's unbelievable.

Been trying to snag a new 2653-20 Impact Driver on Ebay for less than $80 (delivered) for a while with no success. There's a guy selling on Ebay out of LA that seems to have an endless supply of new Dewalt and Milwaukee cordless tools and batteries. Anyone have any experience with that seller? He's easy to find, just search for Milwaukee 2604 or 2653.
