Added another M18 Fuel tool to the mix - a 7 1/4" circular saw.

Here's the deal: Walked into a local store - found the saw - pulled up an Amazon add on phone - found an associate - requested price match - done! $179

I was told only when the items are in stock and the competitor isn't running a sale… just ran into this buying a DW at Lowes. They priced matched HD and allowed me to use 5% off with their CC (supposedly not allowed either on price-matches).

Did you mean right blade? Because the 7-1/4" FUEL circ saw has the blade on the right side.

The 6-1/2" version is the one with the blade on the left.

Yup, that. Oklahoma's sales tax makes anything over about $10 a better buy on Amazon.

True. Unfortunately, Amazon now collects sales tax for our state and many other states with more being added to the list. I think as soon as Amazon establishes a warehouse in a state, they have to start collecting sales tax for sales being shipped to addresses in that state......at least that is what triggered it for us.

i have to pay tax as well. im in FL. it *****. its actually has made me not buy so much bc of that so i guess there are pros and cons from it lol

For the same price, sometimes it's nicer to have it today instead of two days, especially if it's needed right this second. Other times it's just more fun to play with your new toy right now, instead of having to wait and hope it doesn't get lost in the mail.

It's nice having an Amazon warehouse in Texas, because then some stuff gets to you quicker, but it also ***** because then I have to pay sales tax on stuff I buy from Amazon. Fortunately local places have stepped up and will price match Amazon, so I just buy locally if it's in stock and I feel like leaving the house, otherwise I utilize my free 2 day shipping.
