I supposed I was underestimating it based on how I saw their other cordless measure. Looks like a handful though

Yeah, saw that this morning. I couldn't fall in love with mine, hanging onto a 10lb weight jumbling all over the place. I find myself using air more and more again

I have one high-torque and three mid-torque (1st design). Guess which ones I use almost exclusively? I do live in Arizona however. THANK GOD!!!

Wow that thing is huge

At the 0:48 mark in the video, they are laying right next to each other and the housing/head size is about as close to each other as you're gonna get.

Beyond that, the Milwaukee has a battery to deal with but the other has an air hose you have to deal with. Personal preference at that point.

The thread is young -- this is really gonna annoy some air tool guys.

It makes it even more unwieldy but I'd be curious if a 12.0 would make much difference

Ya shoulda seen the previous gen 2763

In relatively short order Milwaukee went from the 2763 to the more compact 2767 while claiming more power.

It's entirely possible the next step for the battery impact market is not horsepower wars but size wars. Vids like this will encourage that. If it gets attention, TTI is more likely to focus on it.

The size and weight of a battery will always be an issue, but I think eventually we'll see a body "close" to the size of IR2135/2235

Uhhh, no. That's a mid-torque vs a 30 year old impact.

Go to 1:15:

Or 1:56:

It's not close

It seems as though when they allow themselves the extra space, M18's impact really put out power.

Would be interested in a 5.25 or 5.5" compact next go around if they made one.

Yeah, he gets a little carried away with tossing various impacts in front of the camera. He could afford to edit a lot of that out as at least a couple aren't pertinent and serve only to confuse the viewer.

The mid-torque shown is part of his channel explanation clip, it explains how the numbers are determined. But agreed there could be less.

Milwaukee M18 High Torque is a must have for Honda / Acura crankshaft bolts.

I don't mean to knock him anyway....I've never edited a video before but overall he's doing a high quality job. Since I haven't done this, I can only imagine the amount of work required, which means the ACTUAL amount of work is probably 4x what I "imagine."

At least he's doing something and trying to find repeatable, relative data and results.

Someone will always try to tear him down and that's not my intent. Just sayin'....a lot of different impacts were tossed in front of the camera there, sometimes on their own which provides no reference. Others weren't tested here and some casual observers can't distinguish a Milwaukee mid torque from high torque - plenty of people just see a red impact with a battery and think that's "the" Milwaukee battery impact wrench.

But no matter, he's doing great. If I didn't like it I should start my own channel and that ain't happening....

Nah, definitely appreciate the comments. He's pretty good with feedback being the channel is young, so I'll let him know not everyone lives their life with so many impact wrenches so maybe less thrown at the camera w/out introduction.
