With the deals the last few weeks I've been purchasing M18 tools, batteries, etc to replace my v28/m28 tools/batteries.
I have the v28 right angle drill and it's rather 'beefy' compared to the m18 right angle drill, which means I'd need to replace it with a m18 hole hawg.
The M18 hole hawg seems to have negative reviews on amazon, home depot, and other 'retail stores' online. If it were just 1 or 2 on one site i'd think nothing of it but since it's all over the web it has me concerned.
How does everyone like their m18 hole hawg?
Is it a direct replacement for my v28/m28 right angle drill?
I rarely use it for wood, but when I do it's obviously the only tool that 'fits' for the job
the majority of usage is on my hole-saw tube notcher which is where the hole hawg (m18) would go as well.
I'm now debating if the hole hawg is worth the big price tag ($250 bare tool) or if I just want to use the 1/2 milwaukee arm-twisting, hole-saw snapping drill
that works awesome but is corded
Thoughts?
