Bought a 2694-24 4 piece combo on eBay new for a steal and have been very pleased with Milwaukee's cordless tool quality. I already bought the cordless Jig Saw to add on, and I'm planning on buying the 1/4" Impact Driver, Grinder, Portable Band Saw kit, and the 1/2" Ball-detent Impact Wrench to add pieces to my combo kit. Just saw on Milwaukee's press releases they're releasing new "RedLithium" batteries, wish I woulda known that before I bought the combo lol, oh well. Anyone else here love these tools as much?

I like them. I have the 1/2" drive full-size impact, the 1/2" drive compact impact, and the hammer drill. I converted the compact impact to a 1/4" hex drive by swapping out the anvil. The 1/2" drive compact impact isn't powerful enough, also it seemed to get weaker over time but that might just be my imagination.

If you get the 1/2" drive impact, get the full-size version, not the compact one.

i have the vaccuum, bandsaw, full 1/2 impact, compact 3/8 impact, grinder, and compact hammer drill/driver(2602) all m18.

they all perform well, now that figured out the bandsaw( had issues with the tool guide- my own fault), it too is a great performer.

i use the vaccum to clean all sorts of dusty messes including my car, dry wall jobs, concrete powder, and whatever else.....awesome little vaccum

i would love to add that jigsaw to my collection, and im a little intrigued about the m12 grease gun.....

both impacts work harder than i expected, so im very pleased with this lineup of cordless tools!!!!

dont worry about the redlithium, it will be compatible with your m18 stuff, so you can add to you m18 collection along with whatever they introduce.
im sure youll get lots of use with the m18 stuff.

i am interested in the m28 and redlithium though!

here is an excerpt:

Fully compatible with all M12™ and M18™ cordless products currently available, the new REDLITHIUM™ batteries will provide up to 40% more run-time, 20% more power and 50% more recharges than other Lithium products. The new technology will also operate in extreme temperatures as low as 0°F/-18°C and will run 20% cooler with fade free power and no memory effect. In short, users are able to instantly upgrade the performance, run-time and durability of the M12™ and M18™ tools they already own, simply by switching to the REDLITHIUM™ battery packs.

bought an M18 sawzall and hammer-drill. both perform very well (better than the DeWalts they replaced)...good power, great battery life and very smooth running. Only problem is that after about a month of ownership (and using the **** out of both) I discovered they were made in China. Would not have bought if I had noticed that beforehand

Agreed, but most brands are going this way. Milwaukee's name still means quality to me. I might start buying some M12 stuff, like the new 3/8" hammer drill when it comes out. Oh, and that M12 heated jacket! haha
