My previous experience was with a grinder that went dead after very little use... used the ewarranty mail in and got it back quick and has worked great since.

My weedwacker is running intermittent after about 20 min or use, did not send in for obvious reasons. Took it to the local authorized place, guy there does not even have the latest parts breakdown for this revised model, I have had the wacker for only this season.

Will keep posted, but has anyone else had problems with the wacker?

FINALLY got it back, repair place was waiting on parts from Milwaukee. Replaced a bunch of electronics in it, will test it out today.
One thing I did learn from it, is how much it really ***** compared to my Stihl FS85....switching back to it while waiting made me realize it is not as good as a good gas trimmer. I did however miss NOT wearing ear plugs!

I use mine on our fruit/grape farm. I got one of them to supplement my gas Stihl. For the initial spring weed cleanup around the orchard trees and vineyard I use the Stihl but after that I use the Milwaukee several times a week. I find it works great. I use it for 2-3 hours at a time swapping a couple battery packs.

I enjoy how quiet it is but I really like that I was able to cut out about 20-30 hours a month of me breathing 2 cycle exhaust.

As a follow up....have used it a bunch since I got it back, longer and cooler run time and no trigger issues. It's still not as strong as the Stihl, but WAY better than my first impressions!
