I took the jack apart today and there was no rust/corrosion problem at all on the ram. The yellow O ring on the ram was hard a brittle and fell apart when I removed it. The original back up washers were made of a felt like material and the replacements were made of rubber.
This kit is OEM Milwaukee, are the newer rubber backup rings better then the old style felt ones?
Also are the first 2 numbers in the jack part number the year it was built?
