Ok, so last week I posted about my M18 Fuel saw not running when the trigger is depressed. After sitting on it a week and blowing it out still no dice. So I went to Milwauke’s site, but in the serial and the “lighning repair” is $163 and shipping… the saw new is $219 at the depot.
So now I’m stuck. Do I buy a $40 switch, try it and see, buy a new saw from a broken up combo kit on the bay for $150, or do I start looking to diversify my tools again. This is the second M18 tool to die on my in a year, the drill I’ll own, but this thing is lightly used, well taken care of and not at all beat. I get that it’s out of warranty, but paying $163 seems like throwing money away. But so does a $40 trigger… Anywhere I can shop for some parts to save some money, not even 100% it is the switch.
