Has anyone tried the Milwaukee straight jaw or v jaw pliers? What are your opinions of them and am I better to pay a little more for Knipex? Thanks a for any feedback.
I was given a free pair to try out by our local plumbing supply (I'm a plumber). They were the V jaws. I threw them in a pond after using them twice. I was standing by my truck prefabbing something or another on a remodel job when they slipped and pinched the hell out of my finger. Haven't thrown anything that hard in about 15 years prior to that. I've never used a worse pair of pliers.

So let's get this straight...you had a situation that can happen with the best of pliers (slippage) which can be attributed to human error as well and you use that to determine their quality? I've pinched my fingers with Knipex, Rothenburger, CL, Peterson etc so they must all
Be junk
I could see that if the jaw snapped or the teeth wore off after the two uses
