Milwaukee pole saw problem

I have a Milwaukee quik-lok pole saw, works great minus the always leaking bar oil. However, when I add the extension is when there's an issue. It locks in correctly, but it acts as if a clutch is slipping or something. It spun the chain once but "slipped?" both before and after. I've taken apart, checked everything, reassembled, same thing. It functions great without the extension, but add that in and no go.

Has anyone had this issue and can you tell me what the fix is?

Thanks

Sounds like an issue with the extension?

Mine works fine with the extension.

Do you have a weed whacker or hedge trimmer you could try with the extension to see if they have the same problem?

Good luck, the extension is really helpful with the pole saw.

I only have the pole saw setup. I'll have to take a second look at the extension, but all the connection points look ok.
