I was under the impression that milwaukee corded power tools were still USA and cordless were all import. I was at Fleet Farm yesterday and walking threw power tools saw a huge milwaukee display. Every last tool was made in China. Drills, grinders, saws, sawalls, and the cordless tools. Is this recent or do I just live under a rock. My question is, is there a way to tell a USA made tool vs a China. About a month ago I bought a HD 1/2" drill with the aux D handle on the back and top pipe handle from a Fastenal Surplus store. I don't know if you guys have these, but basically Fastenal is cleaning the warehouse and this is the stuff thats been laying around for ever. I never looked close at the box for COO. The tag says Brookfield WI 53005 USA, but is that just an address or a COO. It don't say made or assembled in. It just *****, you grow up with a great American brand and then one day, its overprice China junk.
