Black Friday is around the corner. Does Home Depot typically put some deals on Milwaukee for BF?
The ad has been leaked already several places online. They have some milwaukee deals again this year. Haven't found anything I can't live without yet.

OK, found the leaked BF HD Milwaukee items. A few bundles. Mostly non fuel. Most is on pages 11 & 12. Nothing here for me, but maybe for you?

I just got an Milwauke 2780-20 M18 Fuel Grinder. I've had 2 for may years and never a problem. Well the new one on day 2 stopped working and you can tell the paddle switch is broken. So now I send it back to milwaukee and hopefully get it back sooner than later. They usually are good and fast for warranty fixes, lets hope it's not like everything else nowadays and still happens in a timely manner.

I noticed (about 3 weeks ago) my local HD raised prices on many of the M12 items Ive had my eye on.

That way they can lower them to where they were for Christmas sales.

There were price increases coming but I thought they were slated for December or after the new year. Prices on all the tools are about to go up. I've had emails from suppliers telling me to order large orders of stuff they we regularly use because price increases are coming across the board for almost everything. The timing kinda sux though, it its not a good look.

The usual deal on them I see is you get a battery and charger for free for the normal hoodie. Sometimes it is just a battery.

I was hoping the packout drawers would be on sale somewhere but I haven't seen it at all yet.

I was really hoping they were going to do a combo with the chainsaw and the hatchet but I don't think they ever will since it is two different battery platforms.

Don't lose all hope. They have a kit that includes the a m18 high-torque impact & m12 ratchet, though not fuel. Can't say I've seen any other combos.
I think there are some tools that Milwaukee knows they know they don't need to run sales on. Like the transfer pump, grease guns, and large SDS, and I sort of feel the hatchet. They are tools people are likely going to buy whether on sale or not. Perhaps a few more would buy if the price drops, but otherwise they know they will sell without a sale.

Pole chainsaw, blower, and 9.0 battery for $369. Befrugal has 5% for Ace Hardware.

Trying to decide if I "need" this and doing research, found it on HD today as well (and they will ship for free):

I only have M12 right now, can't decide if I need to expand to the M18. My brother has that blower and it is amazing, I would get some good use out of the pole saw...

I love the blower and pole saw, and the extension. Hedge trimmer extension works nice too

If you don't live on a large estate, the string trimmer attachment is worth getting also. I was amazed at how much work I could get done this past summer without breaking out the gas powered trimmer. If I lived in town, I would probably get rid of all my OPE.

I swear the blower with an 8.0 is more powerful than my Shindaiwa backpack. The polesaw and trimmer are the best I've ever owned. I can't wait for the lawn mower.

Curious if that blower is as good as the EGO 56V. Not apples to apples, I know, but I’d sell my EGO, which i really like, just to simply life.

I have never used the EGO, but I find it hard to believe that anyone at all (short of a landscaper!) would be dissatisfied with the Milwaukee.

I would never buy an 18 volt lawn mower. Very disappointed Milwaukee is not using the MX Battery Platform for their lawn mover.

I dunno, it's not 100% clear that it *is* actually running on 18V. The article implies that multple batteries may be used, so maybe it is 36V? I realize that's not 72V, but still...

Quote: We can also see from the supplied photo that the mower seems to have room for (at least) two batteries under the hood. That means Milwaukee can utilize two packs to deliver more runtime or power with this M18 FUEL lawn mower. That’s great news.

But $900??

Where did you get the 900 dollar price tag from? I haven't seen any official pricing so far. Also, that is probably for the full kit which probably comes with 2x12a batteries and a quick charger. Milwaukee really is proud of those chargers. I'm wondering what the price tag of a tool only will be or if there will be a tool only on initial release.

[A joke video - removed]

I don't own a single 9ah or 12ah so I'd have to buy the mower and both batteries, which means, $full price. Which, stated in another way, means I will continue using my corded mower and schlepping the cord back and forth. $900 is out of my comfort zone for a non-riding mower.

I think I have 2 9.0s and I've got a 12 somewhere. If it could run on 2x9.0 batteries I think I could go with the tool only model. I'm not sure how much runtime I'd get out of it but my front yard lawn is tiny so I'm not too worries about it there. The backyard I've got will eventually have a fair amount of grass so who knows if one charge will do my entire property or not. I wouldn't want to have to swap batteries mid run because I don't really have enough big ones for that.

Also, the video you linked is an April fools joke. That isn't the real mower and the info in the video is all fake.

I have one with the blade on the left and am right handed as well. I HATE it. I wish i would have thought about it before purchasing it. The waste side of your cut is usually on the right, correct? Well, if you're just trimming your piece, theres only a little bit of the base in contact with the wood. Almost impossible to keep it flat on the piece. And it might just be me, but it seems like it throws more saw dust up into your face.

That makes sense to me. If you're right handed, you hold a 2x4 with your left hand and cut on the right. So the waste is usually to the far right. So yes, if you needed to trim, the sole on a leftie would have only a tiny perch. Also, a left blade would be closer to your face than a right blade.
