It was a part of deal of the day and expired at midnight, sorry @BroncoAZ

I had posted the same deal at $299 around Black Friday, then malpracticed and did not score.

Scored this time!
I’m in AZ for Christmas, so I was trying to get it done before midnight MST, but it was after midnight EST. I tried changing the delivery zip code to Tucson, but it was likely clocked by my home zip code in MA. Oh well, I’ll keep looking.

Don't blame the trip 😂, as it doesn't matter where you are at. *Most* deal changes occur at 3am EST, and their is no tricking that

Apologies if this is buried in this 200 page thread, but does anyone know of a place to go to find out where certain promos apply? Right now, Milwaukee is doing a free battery promo with certain bare tools.........but which tools vary by store. Home Depot has certain tools, Northern Tool has others. Ordered an M12 caulk gun from Northern, supposed to arrive in 3-5 days. Kept not showing, when I contacted them, they indicated it was on back order. Tried to use Home Depot's price match. In store, the associate told me they only price match Lowes (not true), but online, they indicated that they match prices, but they don't match promos. So now I'm stuck waiting another 3 weeks unless I can find a place to get the same deal.

slickdeals apparently is good, but to be honest my #1 resource is this thread and sometimes a lot of patience.

Checkout Clark's Tools ~$125 for the M12 caulk gun, https://clarkstool.com/products/mil...ive-gun-tool-only?_pos=1&_sid=ac0370c1c&_ss=r

Differing stores are going to have different promos. Think right now they have a buy $500, get $150 off at Napa. Wouldn't be surprised if this is prevalent at a bunch of other stores each with a slightly different tool mix.

Depending on who you speak to at Home Depot your mileage may vary. I might give that another go if the deal was too good to pass up. This being said I try to avoid human contact if at all possible :)

It is $159 MAP, but Northern has their $20 off coupon, so $139 with a free 2.5 M12 battery (MAP $79). So I think that's be best deal. Guess I could always buy one, then return it when the one from Norhtern comes in, I just hate doing that.

I'd try another store, but their policy states only for in-stock items. The store I tried was the only one that had both the gun and the battery in stock (most stores have the 2.0, but not the 2.5).

eBay is having a 20% off new years sale. Unfortunately it only applied to specific resellers but here is the link for everything Milwaukee that you can get for 20% off right now:

Thank you for this, Rusty67! I bought the M12 stick pump bare tool and the M12 1-gallon sprayer bare tool. These seldom (if ever) go on sale, so 20% off and free shipping worked out well for me!

m12 straight and right angle die grinders. special buy for $359, and it's part of the deal that expires on 1/29 where you get a free battery with certain bare tool(s). so $359 for both tools (maybe $40 off there?) plus a free 2.5Ah battery ($79).

i honestly don't watch the deals much at all. is that a decent deal?

i ended up buying it because i wanted it :) but also i have a pressing, immediate need for a dremel-type tool that doesn't **** ***. i need to do some modding of a server chassis including grinding off metal motherboard standoffs that are in the wrong spots, making cutouts in 3mm steel sheet, etc. so i decided to try the straight grinder for that.

i grabbed their 1/8" collet if i ever need to use dremel-style tools on it. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-1-8-in-Collet-Accessory-48-66-2486/313420816

also grabbed a 1/4" cutoff arbor, some discs, and some carbide burrs

Awesome deal!

If you find you don't like the burrs, Project Farm liked the Jestuous brand. You can hear him say it at 15:50 if you don't care to watch the entire video

THIS is tempting ($449, "46% off")...

Is that a good deal? Are 6.0 batteries enough for the blower and larger saw?

The dual battery blower might run for 10 minutes on high with 6ah batteries. Is that long enough for your needs?

5s are fine, but the saw will run at 5,800 rpm vs 5,000 with a HO batteries. One of the few tools that is programmed like that.

And just in case you glanced wrong, that bundle has 2x 6ah HO

Thanks guys.

Yes, I caught my mistake and edited the post shortly after posting.

I rarely use a circular saw, but hate the cord.

10 minutes with the blower would be just about enough to clear my tractor and mower deck. I assume you mean 10 minutes per battery, LOL?

Is this a smoking deal?

Do the "Pro" deals require a Pro account?

This one is also tempting. It's like buying the Packout case and getting the bits for free (or vice-versa).

I can't tell with he LOL if you were laughing that it's a 36v tool, and needs 2 batteries.
It will be somewhere in the 10-15 min range for both batteries, but it has tons of power. More than my Ego packback that I ran side by side this fall, thst I always felt was a good lower.

No for the pro account, just earn rewards.

I seem to be lacking reading and comprehension skills (or at least, attention to detail) today. Yes, I completely missed that it uses two batteries at a time.

Burning through two batteries in 10 minutes is... interesting.

Hey Mike, one thing to consider on that circ saw is that it is a blade right, sidewinder saw. I don't mind sidewinders but I don't like blade right saws. My 6.5" is a blade left sidewinder and my 7 1/4" is a hypoid blade left saw. If you care about which side the blade is on, make sure this one is ok before you snap it up.

As far as it being a good deal, the batteries total out at 120 dollars if you use the $10/AH calculation which means the 2 tools cost you 330 together or 165/tool. Not sure if that helps you with the is this a good deal or not math question?

Thanks. I don't use circular saws enough to have a preference.

I don't really "need" either of these, and do use the $10/AH guide myself, but was wondering if this price is a historically good price (at least in recent history).

The blower is well made but it is only good for a quick 10 minute at most ******** on high…….. I have one and like it for blowing off the deck or the garage floor.
I have a Red Max 8500 backpack for yard work.

I have a large Echo (gas) backpack blower for the big jobs. I also have a couple of corded handheld blowers.

So, not really a "need."

Then the battery one will be convenient for small jobs. No cord, no backpack. But like you wrote, it is not a need. I buy lots of tools for convenience rather than necessity.

I bought one of the Milwaukee blowers instead of a broom to blow all the tree stuff off of our deck... I don't need to move any chairs or tables like I do w/ a broom, and the stuff all goes shooting under the railing. While I wait for the weather to clear so my shop slab will go in, the blower also helps remove tree debris from sitting on the insulating foam under all the rebar. I also plan on using it to clear the gutters...

Do you have the 2-battery version?

We are a match! I have the exact same setup. My RedMax kills the Milwaukee head to head but the Milwaukee is very convenient for quick jobs.

I let the urge pass on the blower and saw deal. If it were under $300, that would have been tougher.

I also don't need bits badly enough to drop the $50 on that set. Very tempting with the Packout case, I must admit.
