tool up has a surge a hammer drill two 5 ah batteries and charger for 279.00 what you all think?

I assume you’re looking at this one?

https://www.toolup.com/Milwaukee-2899-22-M18-FUEL-Hammer-Drill-and-1-4-Hex-SURGE-Impact-Driver-Kit

That kit has the old model Fuel hammer drill.

I got mine with the newer hammer drill from CPO in September with another promo and netted out to about $285. I used the surge driver a bunch last weekend, so much quieter than a standard impact driving screws. Here is the kit I got:

Is the 2659-20 plus 4AH battery for $130 a decent deal?
Or are there any better free battery deals out there right now (doesn't have to be an impact)?

https://www.toolnut.com/on-sale/mil...20-m18-1-2-impact-wrench-with-pin-detent.html

Yes decent price considering additional 4.0 battery. 183ftlbs on torque. Just note that it is a PIN style anvil. Follow up on the ACME link there are a couple of saws and some other tools that also have the free battery offer. I'm considering the recip myself. Have to act quick on that deal though...offer expires tonight :lol_hitti

I went and bought a 2401-22 Impact Driver at my Local HD. Online said they probably didnt have any in stock but there were at least 3 or 4. $59.99 for the set.
I wanted to buy an impact bit set. I checked my phone and saw that they had an Ad for a 30 piece set for $19.98. I found them on the rack but there was no tag..Cashier charged my $10.00. Good Deal

That's not an impact driver, just driver. I got one to keep around the around the house at 59 bucks it's worth it for the batteries even if they are 1.5s.

Shoot I already have most off those M12 tools on the ACME sale.

I still like my 2463, $109 looks best price I can pretty much remembering seeing on it too, always was like $149 bare tool. Bought that, the 2457, and the little 2420 hackzall many years back for building pipe frame greenhouses up at the farm. The impact wrench and ratchet made fast work of all those 3/8" and 5/16" nuts and bolts and driving small lags. Plenty powerful for those assembly chores and over using hand ratchets and such. I don't use as often around my own garage since getting a Fuel 2454 but its still a good tool.

Love to have a cordless bandsaw but the cut width and depth on the M12 is fairly limited for many metal working jobs so I cant really justify owning that one. I personally haven't used a jigsaw in ages, most times I just use the 2420 for making quick notches in framing or flooring on my jobs.

Ya two free batteries is a good deal

Ya the 2401 HEX Screwdriver. I see that -22 kit (2 battery) deal earlier today on FB base Milwaukee forum. I'm sure you will enjoy owning it. I have one of the originals and was one of very first Milwaukee tools

Dang I missed that it is not an impact entirely! I was distracted by the $100.00 off 66" deep drawer Husky boxes...
It is a great deal anyhow.
But I really wanted the impact. So I went and ordered the https://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/black-friday-gameday/milwaukee-2494-22b
Thanks for that tip. Now I'm covered.

Thanks for the advice. Toolup also has the deal, still going, and lowered their free shipping limit today, plus $25 off $100 coupon, so got it for $104 and free shipping.

Check out their M12 and M18 free battery deals here:

Mil25

Need advice please... how big of a battery do I need to get about 30 minutes of run time on high out of a Milwaukee leaf blower. Will a 5 amp hour give me that, I do I need to spend more? Thanks!

I get like 15 minutes with a 9.0. I use two 9.0s and switch off when it dies.
There's a blower kit with two 9.0s if you don't have the blower yet- https://www.toolup.com/Milwaukee-2724-21HD-M18-FUEL-Blower-Kit_2

I’m sorry if I missed it already posted but were there/are there any deals on the new 1/2” stubby impacts? Home Depot has the kit with 4.0 and 2.0 battery and charger for $269, that’s the cheapest I’ve seen.

Sorry, the code is MIL25

I got an email this am saying minimum shipping is 99 today only. The website still says 199, but it gave me free shipping even when the coupon dropped the total below 99. Let me know if it works for you.

So yeah the MIL25 at Toolup will get you to $174 shipped on the 2730-21. I was excited about $199 and ordered 2 from OPT at that price

Int'l Tool is also doing $199 now. HD still $320 LOL

The 5 amp hour is good for about 15 minutes on the Gen 2 leaf blower. A 9 amp hour runs almost 30 minutes. I got the same kit Backskipper mentioned.

i couldn't find a mention of the reduced shipping at toolup.com, but both orders i placed that totaled more than 100$ shipped for free today.

interestingly, i created an account, placed two orders (one for 108$, one for 100.30$) and it allowed me to use the MIL25 coupon/code on both, and shipped both for free. so i dont know if the free ship thing is 75$ (the lower of the two totaled at 75.30$ after the discount) or it was 100$, but before any coupons/additional discounts were applied.

[thick skull: as mentioned above, the minimum for free shipping is 99$ today, before the MIL25 coupon]

they also don't charge tax to MA, which is good for another 6.25% effective discount.

thanx to those of you who posted enough times (and enough information) to get it through my thick skull. i was disappointed that there were no N% off sales so far, this effectively gave me about a 30% discount on 200$ worth of stuff.

actually, i would place another order but the 2114-21 light does not have an order button on the page:

https://www.toolup.com/Milwaukee-2114-21-USB-Rechargeable-Rover-Pivoting-Flood-Light

and, if you are looking for something cheap to push you over 100$, here is a fine tip inkwell black marker for 1.30$:

That was a good buy for then.

Interesting I do see that they (TOOLUP) have the 2621-20 recip saw at $129 though with the free 4.0 battery offer, so even with the $25 off it is still more than ACME deal was for me last night. Both places offered free shipping.

So good buy for me too

Maybe I call an see if they give me the $25 off too :spit:

Side note I generally hate the plastic cases that come with the tool kits especially that monster box that comes with the Fuel drill and impact. So that's one reason why I buy a lot of bare tools. And the 4.0 battery offer sure beats the standard 3.0XC that comes with the 2621-21 kit but darn the only hard case I really ever really wanted is the one made for the cip saw

I attempted to purchase 2463-20 with the marker but the coupon is saying subtotal under 100 even though it's not.

maybe the offer has passed. i just tried using the code MIL25 with 150$ in my cart, and it failed. . . . .

I tried using it on the M18 Oscillating tool with a free 4.0 battery, it said the coupon didn’t apply to items in my order. The coupon does still apply when I add the 1/4” fuel ratchet bare tool.

hmmm . . . . maybe "sale" stuff isn't included. the two orders i placed were for "regular priced items" (which were discounted from list, of course, but not otherwise on sale). . . . .

but i will note the error was something about not having 100$, not that i had already used the coupon . . .

I am wondering the same thing. I haven't seen anything.

I just want the bare tool, I already have three M12 batteries.

I wish, my store has the 3/8” with one 2.0 battery for $99. Unfortunately the 1/4” is $119 with no batteries. I want to get a 1/4” non fuel. Ebay seems to be the cheapest at $78 or so, unfortunately I was asleep at the iPad and missed their 15% deal this week.

yeah ebay seems the cheapest place for 1/4 ratchet and polisher if it had been 69 for a 1/4 ratchet and 2 batteries i would have gotten it but I already have 3/8 and plenty of batteries
