Well, I tried to buy the 6.0 batteries w/ free 3/8 impact kit at Northern Tool today. I had an employee look all over the store for the impact. Finally found the last one buried in the locked cabinet. Then we went up front to get the batteries, and they had none.

Oh well. They said they get another truck later in the week, so I'll check back then.

Then I stopped at HD and tried to buy a string trimmer attachment for my M18 Quick Lok power head...and they didn't even have one of those.

Today just wasn't my day

Do you have a link? Or is it in store only?

In store only. It's in the flier that was sent out in the mail almost 2 weeks ago...the one that has the $5/$10/$20 off coupons in it. The store also has the deals printed on a display in the Milwaukee tool aisle.
My flier says sale prices are good through 5/27

Thanks for getting back to me. Sadly there are no locations near me.

Factory outlet on ebay is having a memorial day sale. Most items are on sale and coupon code MEMORIALDAY23 gives an additional 15% off.

Tracksaw tool only and kit on sale as well. Not as good as presidents day but near it.

Thanks, nice prices - I've been looking for a deal on another 0882 teapot shop vac but this deal requires $200 for free shipping :-(

Yes, but it will be based on the serial number and not the reciept. So if they send you a tool that was made a couple years ago your warranty period may not last very long.

Factory Authorized outlet is an offical Milwaukee retailer, here is their main site. Just like buying from CPO on ebay, your warranty starts on purchase date.

A couple deals from the SD front page:
pole saw kit for $275, if I didn't have one I'd probably jump at this price.

In store only and YMMV but the box is supposed to be marked down to $598

I ordered a tool with a free battery. Tool showed up but no battery. Customer service said it sometimes comes later. Two weeks later, no battery so they send me (email me) a gift certificate for the full price of the battery. 2 days later the original battery showed up.

Picked up this kit today for $530
2767 High Torque 1/2"
2960 Mid Torque 3/8"
2) 5.0 Batteries
Charger
Bag

Friend of mine was looking for a 2767 and this seemed like a good way to get it - at least that's what I'm telling myself as to why I bought the kit so I could get the 2962 :)

I got 15% off and the battery, showed up on Friday.
I got 15% off (on a nailer) and a battery also. Battery was DOA and had a 2020 production date so it was out of the 2 year warranty. Sending it back to Milwaukee based on the purchase date.

Looking at a 3/8 ratchet. Basically replace my old air powered one. Looks like there are several to choose from.

Thinking on how I used the air ratchet, I would generally speaking bust it loose manually, then spin the nut/bolt off. Not really a need for "power", but I want enough power to deal with not so perfect threads. I don't want it to stall all the time.

Not sure on the "extended" versions.

suggestions? stories?

Many prefer the M12 non-Fuel version, because the ratchet head is much smaller than the Fuel version is, making it easier to get into spaces

I will look thanks.
Don't forget there's 3 gens of the shorter ratchets.

Non-fuel/brushed 3/8 with the smallest handle.

Fuel brushless 3/8 with the largest head but almost twice the torque, slow but good for rusty fasteners.

And fuel high speed brushless, which has a similar head size as the non-fuel but slightly larger handle for the brushless motor design.

The more I look and the more I research I am coming to think my "needs" will not be met with one tool. So I will likely get two, one high torque and "slow" and the other low torque and "fast".

Likely I will use one 99% of the time.

I've been debating having a new tool box and this was on my short list. Stopped in a store to compare with another model and it was indeed marked down. They had one on the floor and upon further investigation deciding whether to pull the pin or not, I discovered a subtle den and damage on the larger bottom drawer. It would not operate correctly and I decided that if I was going to gift myself, it would not be with damaged goods.
My evaluations continue...

See if you can get the store manager at that location to kick you down an additional discount for the dented drawer and then you can hammer/dolly the dent out when you get it home.
