Pass for me. The pair of 6.0 and 8.0 batteries comes up once in a while for $275. Keep an eye on the home depot special buy of the day.
its unlikely that will happen again soon, as the quarter just changed. Even when it wasn't $275, it was much lower than the $677 they list for now, and that changed beginning of the month when the promo's changed. I'm not saying 100% it won't happen again, but many SBotD tool deals are the same deal going on all quarter, but a little better for the day, and repeat themselves over the quarter.

An example is this quarter you will regularly see the M18 Fuel Combo kit down an additional $50 with the free 8ah battery on the SBotD, or M12 Fuel Jigsaw + 2.5 for less than deal otherwise instore or online.

I more just say this, so that you don't expect that deal too soon if you were waiting. Of course there will be other competitive battery deals to be had 😉

Thanks. Yeah, I just missed the last time battery deal was up - maybe 3 weeks ago? It went OOS while I fiddling around in the checkout process. I have been checking it every morning since then.

Lots of milwaukee on Home Depot's daily deals.

Thank you, found a Milwaukee M18 kit, Hammer Drill, Impact Driver, 1x M18 8.0, 2x M18 5.0, Charger in a blow molded case for $349.00. 3 Batteries, 2 tools and a charger seems like a pretty good deal. On the way!

How do we feel about this deal for the belt sander and m18 jig saw? I know the M12 jig saw got a lot of positive press when it first came out.

Home Depot today:

Three M18 12.0 batteries for $399 looks like a deal to me. On eBay they are $140 each, but less games with Home Depot.

I have and like the DA polisher, this is a solid price with the free battery.

Good enough deal to make me wish I needed more 12.0 batteries.

Home depot special buy of the day also has a few interesting items on sale today. M18 mid and high torque mid torque gen 2 3/8" and 1/2" drive impact combo:

M18 drywall screw gun with the team red equivalent of a rotozip:

I've seen some of the recent discussion on the $140.00 eBay 12.0 batteries. It looks like it's still inconclusive as to whether you're getting a real Milwaukee battery. The $399.99 price tag for three is good, but I'm really only in need of one battery. Are there any eBay sellers that we can trust for a real one at the $140.00 price tag?

any of them showing retail packaging, with the all plastic rim. If it doesn't come as pictured, eBay has your back.

Mower deal just posted on SD for $750

Link

There's a post in the thread about buying direct from FAO using a code to get it even cheaper (vs eBay)

Bought at $711 — the best deal I have seen. Recently bought the 3 M18 12ah battery deal from HD for $399 or $133 each so if the 2 batteries in the mower kit are worth $266, the mower was about $450 — or less if you assign value to the charger (which goes for $99 on sale).

Ohio power tools has a m18 grinder and 6ah forge battery kit for $270 (2880-21f).

I haven't really seen any other forge battery deals yet.

OK, I'm jumping on this mower deal. I can turn in my gas mower for a rebate as well and mine is almost dead anyways.

I ordered one. I got 3 seasons out of a $350 ryobi so it made sense to pony up for something nicer. a couple 12 amp batt-trees will be a nice addition as well.

Thanks for the heads up ya'all

I guess the $10 per amp hour rule of thumb goes out the window for Forge's. Looks like I am waiting a couple years again for a deal on these :)

Yeah, we can hope.

I justified it in my head as a deal, even if it doesn't seem like much of one. I have no cordless grinder and wanted the new batt for the new impact. Also wanted an extra charger to leave at my sisters/brother in laws place.

You could probably just ask in the addiction thread, I'm sure many of us have spare chargers taking up room.

Probably. But I figured I'd eventually end up with another as kit deals are not uncommon.

I have given away (or sold with tool/battery) all my m12 chargers.

The 9.0 I have went into overheat protection on the chainsaw fairly quick. You need 6/8/12 for it.

I haven't seen a deal on one for a little bit, but I haven't been looking.

Special buy of the day 3x12.0 M18 batteries for 399:
Not quite $10/Ah but not bad if you need several 12s.

Not being a Milwaukee user I don't frequent this forum often, so my apologies if this has already been posted. For those already on the Milwaukee platform it seems like a good deal for a high torque and a mid-torque for $339. The deal EXPIRES in 6 hours though.

Should I bite on that? Or, wait to see if the 2x6.0 + 2x8.0 for $275 deal comes around again?
Typically deals are similar in each quarter, and repeat themselves. That was something that popped up during the holidays, and now you have the 3x 12ah deal that is reoccurring.
I'm not going to say 100% it won't happen, but unlikely for a while in that configuration /price
