I pulled the trigger on the M18 Polisher for $250 with 8ah battery. Been watching it for a while, normal sale is $300 with a 6ah battery so this seemed pretty good.

Trying to convince myself I don't need a 4th polisher because its cordless or another vacuum...

Edit: Those are some great deals. Haven't seen deals is this great in a while.

Is the Home Depot hack still a thing? Could you swing returning the 8.0 Ah battery and get this for $200?

On my online cart each product is itemized separately at reduced prices so it is possible to return one of the items. When the deal does not itemize you cannot break up the "deal".

Yes, but your math is figuring you get the full amount back for ther battery. More like $266 for the kit off the top of my head

That’s what I found out when adding it to the cart. Haven’t done the Home Depot trick before so wasn’t sure. They have the same deal up for $349.99 as a package. May go that route and keep the 8.0 Ah battery and pick up a blower or hedge trimmer.

Usually the cart with 2 items breaks down the same of return price for each item. For example, I just bought the pack out box vac with free 5ah battery for $199. The cart showed the sale or return values for each, along with the original prices. $111 for the vac and $88 for the battery. I think the battery listed at $159 but that is not what you get when returning it. I just want the vac for $111.

Milwaukee and HD pricing seems to be getting more aggressive these days.

$200 ish for the high impact when backing out the 5.0 at $50. Is this a good deal? Haven't been tracking the pricing on this one.

I'm thinking (hoping?) this is a market correction after all the price-gouging over the past few years.

Definitely a good time to buy. Here's some Clark tool deals:

M12 Surge X2 battery kit for $100

m12 stick pump for $90

m18 cp 2.0 for $25

m18 4000 lumen rover $70 - need to figure out how to mount this to a tripod

Shipping is $15 on the surge. I have one currently that I think may be defective, no power to drive even screws in. I’m not sure if I want to gamble on another or just get a regular impact driver.

These also look good.

6 gallon shop vac for $129

M12 Fuel Combo Kit $149

I have placed multiple orders for Milwaukee tools from Clarks with no issues. I don't remember which OPE item I bought, either the string trimmer attachment or the edger. If I remember right it shipped for under $10.

I think it's a small family owned hardware store in Kansas City.

Clark's is legit. I've ordered a majority of my m12 and m18 Fuel tools from them with no issues. I'll check occasionally because they often have some good promotional pricing. Can't speak to warranty issues or returns because I never had to.

Warranty shouldn't be an issue as they are listed as an authorized retailer on Milwaukee's website, although it's listed as car parts distributing, Inc instead... Same company if a few different sites are too be believed though.

Pretty decent prices for sure, although no free shipping until 400+ dollars.

For the surge driver, other retailers have the same package but with a free tool at 179. If you purchase it at home depot and return the ratchet you'll get about the same price but then you're dealing with a return.

if you need a decent amount of Milwaukee stuff, but don't need the hassle of dealing with HD returns then Clarks is the way to go. Also mild hassle is CA customers need to call in for whatever reason at least last I checked.

No surprises, but I'm trying to figure out what else I can buy from them to get over that $400 threshold to get the "free" shipping...

Thanks! That just hit the old pocket book pretty hard lol. Was just about to pull the trigger on an M18 hatchet and hedge trimmer at Home Depot when this popped up. Same prices as Home Depot before the 15%. Somehow an M18 driver and hammer drill combo kit fell into the cart too. It was weird... :)
