Did you do two separate battery orders or just one?
I did two separate battery orders. For the submission I printed both confirmations and scanned as a pdf.

ETA: I received an Approved email this morning.

I was going to try ordering for the blower, but saw the greenworks 80v on sale at Costco and grabbed one. Looking at some comparison videos the greenworks is more powerful but heavier. I’m torn.

The Milwaukee blower is nice if you're already heavy into the M18 system, but if not there are better options out there as you've found. I wanted it for blowing out the shop and clearing grass off the driveway after mowing if I'm crunched for time. Basically quick & dirty jobs that I don't want to fire up the big Stihl gas blower for.

I have the Milwaukee M18 blower, dual battery blower and backpack blower. The single battery one is good for light duty stuff like blowing off a patio. The dual battery is a bit heavy but noticeably stronger though still short of a 60cc gas handheld. The backpack one is about equal to a 60cc gas handheld but much more expensive. I use only 12ah batteries with them.

Seems another decent deal through Clark's and E-Rebates

2 XC 5.0 batteries for $140

E-Rebates available. 1/4 impact, heat gun, non fuel sawzall, 6 bank charger, top off inverter, or wet/dry vac

I'm pretty heavy into the M18 and M12 platforms so I've got batteries which was why I was originally going to grab a M18 blower. I do also have one 80v green works snow blower/shovel just the 12" wide one so I've got another battery already on that platform.
I'm getting this to have a battery blower to blow off the driveway and mowers after mowing. I'll use it for fall clean up too, but realistically should get a backpack blower for that at some point. I just have an Echo gas blower and my wife always has me start it or doesn't blow things off so... battery it is! lol

Even the 1 battery blower is fine for blowing grass off a driveway. Blowing lots of leaves off a lawn in the fall, no.

Took about two weeks but the E-Rebates free M18 blower showed up a couple days ago. That thing has been handy as a shirt pocket ever since. Not sure how I got along without it :dunno:

For most retailers, the promo ended last month (buy a kit, get free select attachment), and then some raised the price to $349 for the kit.
I was at an Ace last week that was still offering it for $299 + free edger (no choice). I did not look to see if this was online

Do it. You won't regret it. Look for some of the combos. They'll save you a good bit versus buying individual pieces. I started with a blower, weed trimmer, and edger attachment combo a couple of years ago, and I got addicted. Now I have the hedge trimmer attachment, edge redefiner, pole saw, extension, and brush cutter. Soon getting the reciprocating trimmer.

Too bad my previous weed eater didn't decide to die a little bit earlier!

I ended just picking one up, because I needed to take care or the grass on the property. I was really debating going with a Stihl gas powerhead and their kombi system, just because of the size of my property but I really dislike dealing with small engines. Man this thing has WAY more power than my previous 13" Dewalt battery powered weed wacker. I don't think I made the wrong choice going battery powered.

Does anyone know when the next significant sale will be for Milwaukee OPE? I'm interested in the 3016 powerhead along with the pole saw (with extension) and string trimmer attachments. HD has it marked at $389 right now but i've not kept up with the historical prices so i'm not sure if this is a deal or not.

Opinions?

TIA,
DC

Their significant sale ended earlier this month (Buy kit, get free select attachment, but pole saw wasn't included), and right after raised the price of the string trimmer kit to $349 at all retailers. Usually the OPE is just a once a year sale, other than maybe a flash sale here or there.
Be aware, Ego attachments will work with the Milwaukee powerhead with a very minor plastic piece removal. So if you can find those attachments at a good price, one could frankenstein it.

Any major deals coming up for the 4th? I saw ACME had a 10% (might have been 15%) off this weekend but nothing spectacular.

Milwaukee on Woot
https://tools.woot.com/plus/milwaukee-more-power-tools?

Some good, not great, deals. M18 5ah 2/$100, 6ah 2/$150, for example.
2457 M12 ratchet $64

Woot is not an authorized retailer so while the products are legit, the warranty is off manufactured date, not purchase date, so you lose a few months off a 36 month/60 month warranty.
(Although Milwaukee's warranty seems to be worth much less now anyway.)

EDIT: batteries are sold out, still a few tools.

Recently had a mid-torque I bought from Amazon repaired under warranty. Was a quick and painless process. Sure the warranty period is based off the build date but they are very clear about that. Maybe other people’s experience has been different but mine was good,
