How does the subcompact compare (in power) to the M12 Fuel drill? Mine took a dump a couple weeks ago and I'm wondering if this is a worthy replacement.
I was going to say it felt the same to my Gen 2 meaning its going to be hard to break your wrist, but the specs are kind of the same. Here's what my Copilot says since my torque perception *****. Also added the Gen 3 in there, because I am not sure which gen was your drill that went down the $hitter.

I have the latest m12 fuel drill and it’s pretty nice. Feels just as powerful as my m18 brushless drill from a few years ago. I also have a m18 hammer drill that is a bit more powerful, but the m12 fuel has done everything I’ve asked of it.

I ordered two of these this morning for my guys. A couple weeks back I had a bizarre install that only gave me 6” of room to tek screw some cover panels in place and this thing went from a joke tool to a rockstar just…like…that. And two of my guys that previously made fun of it wanted one 😉

That install drill is probably my most used tool.

Thanks. The specs are pretty close to my gen 2 Fuel, with the notable exception of a 3/8 chuck vs the 1/2. For $70, it's worth a shot. I wonder if I can swap the 1/2 chuck in there?

I bought the 12v Bosch version last summer and I love it!
I got it from Acme Tools for $99 with two batteries that I needed.

It has come in so handy and been a life saver on several occasions.

I take this kit when I go to my son’s house and don’t expect to need a drill.

Yes I know this is a Milwaukee thread and I also am a M12 tool owner.
But my point to readers is, if you think you might like this 4 in 1 tool, buy it. You’ll be surprised how often you use it.

I think this works on the regular price Milwaukee stuff - effectively 25% off if you hit $150 on the dot.

Doesn't work on the ratchets at least. Im trying to find the 3/8 high speed.

I'm looking for a 2567-20 3/8 high speed ratchet. I think I like the form factor and specs better than the new ones. cheapest I've found is marked new on eBay for around $130 or Maxtool.com refurbished with a 1 year warranty for around $140. If I get the one on eBay, despite not being an authorized seller, will I still have the warranty based on the serial number? pros cons of each source? Thank you.

I might succumb to the peer pressure of this thread :) To be honest I was hoping for a gen 2 release with more traditional forward/reverse switch. Also it seems like the most common use pattern is the 90 degree head, but it seems like a ratchet with a bit holder can honestly get to more places. Maybe its got more torque and unique ergonomics in certain situations (like cabinetry)?

Im trying to find the 3/8 high speed.
confirmed the discount does not work on the ratchets which are excluded. It does work on stuff like packout dust separators...

I did buy a refurb high speed 3/8 when one of the retailers had a stackable discount... think it ended up being around $100... haven't tested the warranty on any of the refurbs I have purchased. It was a limited one year warranty...

Milwaukee 9.6 volt battery-operated drill motor with battery and charger.

The Makita battery on the left looked like it might fit.
After several hours on chargers, none of these lit up, so they went to the curb yesterday.

Reminds me of my house. I live in a pretty nice part of Cape Cod. My mail carrier will leave anything that doesn’t fit in the box on the ground at the street, the street is reasonably busy. They leave Amazon packages like that all the time. Last month they left my new Pelican 1700 rifle case on the ground.

Call HD and tell them you never received the package. When they see the picture of where it was dropped off at the curb they will know why you did not receive it……. Maybe someone picked it up thinking it was garbage?

Was it delivered by HD or shipped? I have a problem with FedEx leaving packages in the middle of my driveway in all weather conditions when I have a covered porch 20 feet away. Luckily, I live in the country and my house is a ways off the road so theft isn't an issue, but soggy boxes and possible ruined product definitely is.

More likely OnTrac, the non-consumer based delivery company, as FedEx always delivers to the door or garage in all my deliveries. OnTrac hires people that don't understand what shipping is or how a package is assembled, and fail to explain any of it on day 1. They leave packages no where near your door, and in a way the package couldn't have been put together, such as with the labels on the side & up arrows not pointing up. I had one package left at a 45 degree angle against the house. Why would you do that? 🤔

I plan on it. I already filled out the survey and tomorrow I’ll push this up the food chain.

Had it disappeared I’m not sure who would have ate it but I also don’t want to find out either.

It appears it was a firm called OnTrac. I have no idea right now who/what they are - in house or private carrier.

Home Depot uses ontrac for my deliveries. It appears it's just individuals in their private vehicles. I've had them deliver to wrong locations and then have to fight with home Depot to get my order. It took a few days, but I received it and the package had been opened. It was also Milwaukee batteries.

They'll also deliver at late hours close to midnight.

Compared to the deliveries I've received (not received), that wouldn't even raise an eyebrow.

For example, I caught an amazon driver taking a pic of the package in front of my house and then putting the package back in his car. I have a video camera that records 24/7
I've had the driver note a delivery on my doorstep even though my (very long) driveway had no footprints or tire tracks in the snow.
Packages left at the base of my mailbox on the road, even though my house is nowhere near the road.
Packages thrown behind a tree - I have hundreds of trees
On and on.

Fun fact...every "OnTrac" shipment from Home Depot I've ever had (total of 3) were either lost, stolen in transit (that's a thing, they admitted it) or delivered to the incorrect STATE (not town, STATE).

OnTrac is the laughing stock of shipping / freight companies. They are known for the worst customer service, worst delivery drivers and worst package handling. In all three instances, I needed to get written confirmation from OnTrac about the failed delivery, forward it via email to Home Depot CSR and have someone in Management there grant me a refund.

I'm now using the "ship to store" option when ordering from homedepot.com and haven't had any issues. Also, in my local HD's, using this option allows me to get most items in 1-2 days, even though they estimate 5-7 days, so food for thought if you have an orange box near you.

First results on Google for OnTrac (Note that one star is the lowest rating you can give :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ):

Thanks for that. I need another M18 inflator, but $300 with two 6-Ah batteries is more than I want to spend this month.

Plus, my brain is stuck on the "old" pricing from a few years ago. $10 / Ah for the batteries puts the inflator at $180, which is at least 33% more than I think it should cost (LOL). I see the "normal" price at $200, around $50 more than a few years ago.

Am I way off-base here, guys?

I had one (OnTrac) delivery driver show up in a POS "hooptie" at 11:45PM.……. This delivery time could be very dangerous at some homes located in the rural areas. I think Homey Depot should limit deliveries between 9AM to 6PM for the safety of drivers and educate delivery drivers on proper locations to drop the box.

OnTrack is terrible, I've hated them for years. I had a delivery come for a tool/battery promo and I got the tool with no battery. HD chat resolved the issue but it had to be done during business hours. I told HD I have video of the delivery driver only dropping off 1 package and I was happy to send it to them for evidence. They called OnTrack while I was on the chat, in 15 minutes they refunded me the price of the battery. I was going to return the battery for the savings anyways because I've got all the M18 batteries I could ever use (another 12ah forge would be nice though) so it worked out in my favor and saved me a trip to HD to return the battery. But yes, OnTrack sux.

Good deal on the m12 stick pump I think if you need the 5.0 HOs
