That's a great deal, I think I paid 75 for mine a long time ago, bare tool with battery return. You get the 2 batteries with it at 120, its a solid deal for sure.

I've used my Quicklook String Trimmer a lot but never used the hedge trimmer until recently....here I was thinking I had the fixed head, but turned out I had the articulating one in my stash.

I picked up the quicklock extension just in case...

Anyhow, the point being.....while I was able to get the job done without the extension, the balance on the articulating is way off. Not sure how worse it would it have been with the extension on top.

Gotcha. I've seen it done when you could return part of the order, but never like that (perhaps I'm out of touch), I've got way too many of the small batteries for them to have that much value. Great stapler though.

Correct, the way this one is sold you can't return the batteries, but you can sell them locally for 20 a pop fairly easily. Then again, who wants to deal with facebook market place? Great deal if you need the batteries. I also have too mayn M12 batteries at this point.

I've got the trimmer and the articulating hedge trimmer. It works well, but is heavy, especially with the extension. Mine doesn't really bow though.

Am I seeing this correctly that the ego attachments work on the M18 trimmer?

Now when I saw your reply on my phone, I swear I was seeing things, as that doesn't appear.

These are just slow moving skus. Nothing new has been announced to replace these.

I think HD just isn’t stocking a lot of the organization stuff in store anymore.
Last year I bought some Ryobi Link stuff for my FIL. I went back to look for myself last month after my new shed was delivered and nothing was available in store anymore. Same for gladiator or Rubbermaid. I was able to find a small selection of pack out.

Lowes still has an isle with options so I bought gladiator from Lowe’s.

If history repeats itself (again), there should be a PackOut BMSM for the 4th quarter, starting around Nov. 1. The last one went was for the 2nd quarter, and was extended until 8/16. The latter sale usually has a better higher savings tier as well.
I'm not saying don't buy now if you need, but do hold on to your HD receipts. So when the sale does start, buy everything again, and walk over with the receipts purchased at full price, and return on there.

Thanks 2manytools. As you know I am lazy so sounds like I should just wait until Nov 1st unless I see some good clearance deals at local HDs. Knowing myself I'll have the packout sitting around the garage for a few months anyways until I can motivate myself to clear some wall control out and install them.
