A local Home Depot (Store #4640 in Annandale, VA) had a bunch of Milwaukee power tools marked down and in stock, including:
- Corded worm-drive saw
- M18 die grinder
- M18 LED site lamp
- M18 D-handle rotary hammer
- M18 Hole Hawg

See photos for details.

I picked up the worm drive saw a few months back, mainly an impulse buy. Just a heads up that's the Super Hawg, not the regular hole hawg. And a good price for it... that's the lowest I was able to find when I got mine off eBay.

I keep eyeing that SDS rotary hammer but my corded Bosch is still in great shape. I think I'd rather have the M12 cordless version and keep the bigger corded one.

Any interest in grabbing the rotary hammer and shipping it?

Debating on the greatness of this deal:
https://www.ruralking.com/m18-combo-impact-w-light.html

2693-22 3/8" M18 Impact & Light Combo
2658 3/8" Impact & 2735 Light & (2) 2.0 batteries. In a bag.

Wondering if I might be happier with a M12 Fuel 3/8 impact?
I have 2 of the 3/8 impact guns. They are great. I see no reason to use an M12 impact at all.

BTW, the impact you listed in a really old model. You can buy them new for like $80 on the web.

My 3/8 impact has been a little disappointing. Great for average nuts and bolts. But just won't break lug nuts loose even with a fully charged 6.0 battery. I've been at the junk yard and had to break out a ratchet before. This is why I keep eyeing an M18.

I've used my M18 3/8 impact to break down numerous engines and it is my GO TO on everything except lug nuts and crank bolts. Then I break out the M18 1/2 which have NEVER failed me. Even my ARP crank bolt with 250+ lb ft of torque was no match for it.

Anybody think its worth holding out for a kit deal with string trimmer or take the 20% off on bare tool at 160?

Cant remember what the kits went for last year...

What are planning on doing with the impact? I have M12 Fuel 3/8 impact it's my favorite little tool. I also have the brushed M12 3/8" from even before that, but the Fuel is much nicer and more powerful. I mainly use on small engine equipment and fasteners under a 1/2". It really not a wheel lug wrench by no means though it can do some small wheels/trailers etc. pretty easily. Fuel supposed to 117ftlbs that brushed M18 167ft lbs so only about a 50 ftlb difference. That's not much really. And for $199 even with worklight I'm not that impressed with the deal price. And the batteries are just compacts also. What price do have on a M12 Fuel anyhow? :headscrat

Surprised in M18 you don't consider the 2754 Fuel though for a compact impact wrench. Though its probably more bit more money.

I don't know if you been paying much attention to some of the deals posted but HD is offering a Mid Torque impact with a single compact battery plus charger for $199. And now THAT I consider a good deal.

In fact I just bought one! :D

M12 Inspection camera for $299. Not sure if this is even worthy of hot deals or not, but thought I would post it. The 9' cable is like $160 on its own.

Milwaukee 2316-21 Inspection Camera at Home Depot

i notice that there are a bunch of cameras (2313,2314,2315, along with this one, the 2316?). has anyone done a comparison to explain why i might want one over the other, or how the features escalate, or however they are differentiated?

The 2313 I have 9mm lens rotating screen 3 ft cable good for most sparkplugs

2314 same camera 9ft cable more for plumbers contractors

2315 larger 12.5mm camera head SD CARD video capture and USB connector for PC equipment

2316 is top of the line with detachable LCD display screen 12.5 mm camera 9 ft cord video capture

I believe the 15/16 models have brighter lighting capabilities than the 13/14 models (4 light level intensity)

There is also a standard 9v battery model from Milwaukee but I do prefer the ones that use power tool batteries

I think the 13 and 14 are cameras only, the 15 and 16 are video and have a removable wireless monitor. the 15 offers a 3' camera and the 16 is a 9' one. I bought one figuring I can get the 3' camera later.

Better description from DFB. I ended up buying a few things as I found a couple of used deals on ebay, once I get them, I can answer a few more questions, but I don't expect that to be until next week at least.

Currently at home depot you can get the trimmer and either the hedge trimmer or blower for $299. Includes charger and 9.0Ah battery. I went for the blower even though I don't really need it

Thats a great deal on the mid torque that he posted. Bare tool is usually $180 or so, and the one posted has a 2.0 battery, which is great with the mid torque. I tore down the whole front end (lug nuts, axle nuts, etc.) and rear (lug nuts, suspension) on my 4Runner with the mid torque and 1 2.0 battery. Awesome tool

The 3/8 is good for lug nuts I thought 1/2 was needed ?
So w the sockets is this a good deal or a great deal?
Thanks

I'm in the same boat right now. I really want to switch my trimmer from gas to cordless, and I have plenty of 5.0 batteries that would be plenty for the amount of trimming I do, about 20 minutes each time I mow, including time walking around not trimming.

I have no use for either the blower or the hedge trimmer, so I'd either get the kit and sell the extra tool, or get just the bare-tool trimmer now for about half the price of the kit.

It depends on torque you need. I think the 3/8 max is 210 for the fuel. Break free torque will probably be that or close for most auto tires providing no corrosion, etc which is very unlikely. So the answer to your question is maybe but not likely...

it's not a total given that the compacts will ALWAYS get lugs off a lot is dependent on the factors corrosion damage who torqued them last

For the most part my 1/2" compact "B" wrench has gotten the job done though may have worked at it longer than necessary. But that's dependent on the max value of the tool How long is long to loosen a lug anyhow? :D

Maybe only 2 or 3 times I remember after several long consecutive hammerings did I give up with the compact wrench on wheel fastener that seemed like it just wasn't budging for me :dunno:

Which impact kit are you referencing anyhow

The 1/2 mid torque for 199 at HD seems good for tire rotations and pick a part runs
W impact sockets 259 ( I think)

I usually just take my 3/8s 2654 to pull a parts and it will even take my truck tires off when torqued to 140 ftlbs no problem. The 2654 is only 200 ftlbs and the 2754 is 210 I believe and slightly smaller. Will get off 90% of fasteners. Rust obviously throws a wrench in it, but the mid torque should be able to get those off as well. I keep trying to talk myself into a mid torque as I have the 3/8s and the full size 1/2 Fuel beast.

But to your question if you only were picking one you can't go wrong with the mid torque for $199. I think I might be getting one now....

Hey guys I have a question about the blowers. I know the original baby one is a joke, but what about the larger fuel model 2728-20. Is that thing decent enough for blowing out the shop and lite dusting of the driveway/patio areas?

Thanks.

That's a great deal. I paid $189 for the bare tool last year I was happy even at that price. It has plenty of power with the 2.0 batteries, though I keep a 5.0 with it when I'm traveling.

Oh man I just got one a MidTorque and for another GJ member that asked over on the Milwaukee Addiction thread I knocked every lug off on my old 1/2 ton pickup in under 2minutes including the time to walk all around the vehicle

That thing rocks :lol_hitti

I just got the 2724 Gen II model with the trimmer combo, and its more than plenty for what you listed  Not as strong as my gas blower, but more than enough for my garage, driveway and patio

Anyone think any online sites going to run another 15% off deal or something. Missed the sale around St Pattys day and I didnt see one for Easter. Wanted to grab the 2796-22PO deal before the deal ends at end of month. I know HD youbcan return the 9.0 but wanted to keep it and sell the 5.0s.

Was going to see if anything pops up for Earth Day I doubt it.

I like mine well enough. I blow off the driveway and blow out the garage with it. It works well to blow out the car or truck if you don't want to get the vacuum out.

Just bought/splurged on the M18 Fuel One-Key HTIW on Acme. only sad part is they got me for tax, which I didn't notice early in checkout. maybe they can refund that with our farm status tomorrow.

Missed the 20% bare tools. Couldn't remember password and it took forever for the email to come through for the reset but in the mean time they have a 15% deal again just what I was looking for picked up the 2796-22PO and 9.0 battery for $424.15 so something good came from it since I just posted earlier hoping for another sale before end of month.

Wow that's great. How did 8MPG get the light, 5.0 and charger for $160? I see it for $199 bare tool and w/ a 9.0 $549. I'd love to try one of these out.
