Not sure if this has been posted, but I picked up the compact Radius light with one key (2146-20) for $199 at Acmetools. Might be a bit overkill for my needs, but I like good lighting. :)

https://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/milwaukee-2146-20

How is it? I missed the $199 sale through HD, and I've been thinking about that one. Although the tool guy at HD said the stand lights are dropping to $99 this week, so I'm debating whether to get a second one or the 4400lm Radius.

do any of these LED lights work on 120V AC power too? I'd consider buying some to replace my old halogen painters lamps if that were the case

Several do. The 3-headed Stand light charges batteries as well. The Radius lights all have pass thru AC outlets to string up to 10 units or other items. The Rover light does AC.

I believe the forth coming M12 Rocket light is also AC.

edit: Milwaukee is re-vising the $199 (MSRP) rocket light. It will be 25% brighter, and include AC power (no charging) for the same price. Will be out Q3.

For painting, I wouldn't recommend the 3-headed unit. You end up with an interrupted light pattern, that I don't think you will like as much as the single head output.

For anyone looking to pick up the current model 2130-20 LED stand light on clearance, they're definitely worth it. I got one reconditioned a while back from CPO for $129 and it's been great. Used it to run wire in the attic, wire a friends garage before he had power, and last weekend we used it for playing horseshoes in a friend's back yard with no lights.

The tool guy at HD said they'd be dropping from $149 to $99 on clearance soon. I stopped in today but still $149.

Wow that 3 headed one is hella expensive. I think I'll hold out for the revised one you speak of.

The fact that the three headed one can be used as a plug in light, charger, or cordless light is the main advantage, but the price is tough to swallow.

Agreed. The charger part is cool but it doesn't warrant the price. There's HUGE mark-up in there, charger technology ain't that expensive.

I still wish Milwaukee would abandon the stupid push-a-million-times-to-toggle brightness and go w a rotary knob like Ridgid has on some of their lights. The single button is clearly a cost saving measure (and granted it's easier to seal for intrusion protection) but Milwaukee charges a pretty penny for their lighting - until a new model comes out and the old models are "so yesterday"

Even a fully sealed 2 or 3 position rocker switch would be nice. I dislike cycling through to get the brightness level I want each time.

Or even 3 tiny lights in a row (like an M12 battery gauge) as a visual indicator of if you're on high, medium or low would be a compromise I could live with.

For anyone still looking, Home Depot's site once again has the string trimmer 9.0ah kit for $299 with either blower or hedge trimmer as the free tool. Now they also have the M18 Fuel Hackzall or the M12/M18 Jobsite bluetooth speaker available as the bundled tool as well.

I wish they would have that bundle with the grinder as the free tool. I sure could use the grinder and would make use of the string trimmer.

Can one of the tools be returned for partial refund? I really need the hedge trimmer.

Acme had the hedge trimmers on sale for $99 last week. Not sure if they're still on sale. Had to call to get the sale price, it was incorrect on the website.

Found a 2135-20 Light for $200. Had the 2130-20 about 2 years ago for $150ish with Free 5.0/Charger. Sold the charger right away and just sold the light back in March pretty much even swap. Was going to wait for the revised 2131-20 but this should work out better.

Also M18 Shears $100 2335-20. Would of liked the 2636-20 but these will do for now.

My M12 ratchet showed up yesterday. It too has the oily smell. This is the first Packout box I've ever had, and I really like it. Too bad the bigger set is so expensive, I might get the Ridgid $99 set at Home Depot.

Strange... I ended up cleaning mine with a bit of degreaser... I was gentle... not to clean any useful lube. Mine was actually C O A T E D. I'm sure some got in the motor thru the vents. Glad mine wasn't unique.

Thanks for letting me know.

I still have no use for my packout box. Or charger... LOL...

All I’ll say is good luck returning any power tools to HD. They declined my return on a new tool in the box perfectly packaged AND with a receipt.
Just last weekend had zero issues returning an opened but not used M18 grinder.

You can stack the Home Depot Special Buy on that Milwaukee M12 3/8 drive ratchet and packout box with Google Express 20/25% off coupons.

Got mine for $89.

Link

25% off code (first time buyers only, also app only I believe): APPFUN30

It varies per store. At our local store if even the little piece of tape is cut they tend to balk on the return. I usually have to drive 40-50 miles to the next store if I want to return a power tool.

I’ve started buying Milwaukee stuff almost entirely from Acme and CPO just to avoid the hassle.

Will that coupon work with this deal:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-Compact-Battery-2494-22-48-11-2420/203481072

(I can't find it on Google Express).
Or any other coupon that will stack with it?
Thanks.

Yeah seems that deal isn't available on Google Express. Not sure why?

Google Express is wierd. Doesn't list all items. I had a 30% and wanted a m12 3ah compact battery when they became available, and was dissapointted it wasn't available. Can't figure out rhyme or reason to what is available.

Yep, no idea how they determine what to allow Google Express to see. Maybe Home Depot has restrictions?

A52 google was only allotted a certain number of the sets which they sold through, that’s why the deal doesn’t work anymore

I just received my first venture into Milwaukee Fuel with a purchase from HD of the mid-torque 1/2" impact deal.

I don't have an air compressor worth owning a bunch of air tools, and already have a the Milwaukee corded 1/2" impact that works well but is heavy and fairly large, so the torque, smaller footprint/weight and portability of this wrench is welcome indeed.

Thanks all.

I don’t own either but I was recently at HD and saw them both on display and compared them. Amazing how much lighter, compact and powerful the M18 stuff is over corded. You would totally think 120v > 18V.

Also I noticed that the Milwaukee corded impact has the same part number as one made from 10+ years ago which makes me believe it’s just got a redesigned shell.

I was just shopping for a corded portable band saw. Home Depot online said "final price in cart." Milwaukee 11 amp, deep cut. $150.00. 48% off.
Yeah. I bought one.
