I think I like this better than the guy buying the tool kits that come with a free battery, then returning the battery and getting cash for it

I'm wondering if you have purchased one of these promotions? Both items have a value given to them, nothing is 'free.' You are not getting the full value back. The only way one were to get the full price of the item back would be to do a no-receipt, but that would result in store credit, not cash, and because they knowingly could use a receipt, would be retail fraud.

Thanks fellas, I was able to score a couple of Rocket lights for $100 and a Job Site radio for $115. The Radius light is tempting at $150 but think I will pass on it.

Damn you guys, if this all works out I'll have

-a 2135 rocket light for $100 (already have a 2130 I hardly ever use)
-a 2709 Super Hawg for $175 (I do 99.9% metalwork so dunno what I need this for)
-a 2707 "regular" Hawg for $125 (I just figured this would look **** in a drawer next to the Super)
-a 2623 planer for $100 (I do have a single shed door that could afford to be planed)

-I also have the option to get a 2738 polisher from my ex who accidentally ordered two at $125. I've never waxed a vehicle in my life.....

The one tool I managed to refuse was the 2627 cut out tool at $50. I already have a corded RotoZip I've used ONCE in 18 years, and if I need to cut drywall (remember- a carpenter I am NOT) I use an OMT

Also grabbed an M12 spotlight at $35 as a gift. I already have the radius light (paid $228 shortly after release!) and 2792 stereo

Some may think I'm greedy or wasteful but I'm only ordering one each for personal use, and this is how I choose to spend my discretionary income. It's like action figures when you were a kid and they say "collect the whole series" - if there's an M18 tool I don't have I feel like I need it to complete the collection LOL!

Of course I'm mostly joking, I just like tools and there's always that high of the "hero moment" when on a Sunday at 7pm you pull out some obscure tool you bought years ago and it makes the job soooo much easier.

What zip code are you using?

Is the rocket light worth it for $150?

The Rocket Light (2135-20) would be a steal for $150! If you're talking about the LED Stand Light (2130-20) that's been in HD stores on clearance for $150, I still think it's worth it. They have a new model coming out this summer that will take it's place at the $199 price point, which ups the lumen output to 2500 lumens and adds a 120v AC plug-in capability.

Buy one. The discounted values for each are on the receipt. Home Depot is fine with you returning the battery with the receipt. This isn’t fraud, you don’t have any idea about this

This is not one of the crazy 50% deals so don't get excited but anyone notice the 2719 Fuel Hackzall kit is at $200?
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-Batteries-Charger-Tool-Bag-2719-21/303014191

If you consider the -20 retails at $150 you're paying $50 more for a 5.0, bag, and standard charger (I could do without the charger LOL). Now I know 5.0's can be had secondary market for probably under $50 but it still doesn't strike me as a terrible deal if you're wanting the M18 Fuel Hackzall, which many of us were requesting for years before Milwaukee finally released it, having released the M12 much sooner.

$100 bucks more and you can get a weedwacker and 9.0 battery plus a rapid charger. I couldn't resist that "deal".

Any % off deals coming up on any Milwaukee retailers? I'm looking to buy the ProPress set (2773-22) since it currently has a rebate offer for the $700 steel pipe jaws I need. Would love to get it at 10% off.

Too bad HD doesn't price match Menards 11% for online orders.

Excellent point! I already have the string trimmer and can't think of a use for another. I guess if you're the type who likes to flip tools or part kits, you could sell off what you don't need. I don't really have the time for CL mouth breathers and I'm not gonna deal w shipping a string trimmer (the boxes are HUGE), but a potentially good deal for those who need it! :

How are you guys getting the items shipped at the discount price. As soon as I enter my shipping address it defaults the price to that of the nearest store?

Sent from my SM-G950U using The Garage Journal mobile app

See, I haven't experienced that. It allows me to add to cart at the discounted price and then ship to the address on my account (I've had a HD online account for years).

Are you trying to checkout as a guest?

If not, what OS are you using? I'm running on Android and it just holds the price all the way thru checkout.

Incidentally, are you still finding any of the ~50% off prices? Care to share if so, zip and item #?

do you set the remote store as "your store"? that might be what does it . . . .

I just go to "find other stores", input zip and click "shop this store."

is this a good deal?
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-Battery-Rapid-Charger-48-59-1890PS/300134833

a 2720-20 sawzall + a 9ah battery + a charger for $250

otherwise know as the
Model # 48-59-1890PS

No, those have been around a long time as a "promo." There's another w the circular saw, too. If you need everything in the kit, it's not a BAD deal....

That’s the new SKU...if you find the old promo when the 9.0s first came out they dropped down to $125.03

Yeah it won't stick for me either. I tired Windows 10 in Chrome, Chrome Incognito, MS Edge and also Private, Android Chrome nothing. I cleared everything from the browsers as well and blocked location.

The price only sticks to the store my shipping address defaults to. I was able to order the Radio and and use my buddies address since my store was $199 and his had it for $115.

It seems to be hit or miss on your location if the price will stick. Since you go through checkout and it goes back to Home Depot if using Paypal price will go back up same with just staying in the HD page once it sees your shipping address will go back up.

Same for me. I even tried w/o logging in. If you go to checkout either via PP or HD and change zip the second I do the price changes to the shipping address zip codes price.

Its been cheaper in the past as a daily deal. $159 late March I picked on up then. Will grab another if they do another deal like that.

Yeah ***** for us being in Chicagoland area we couldn't get most of those deals.

That Hawg would of been nice I didn't see the short one only the Super Hawg and same with the Drywall cutout could use another one. I use it everyday at work.

I even tried changing the address to other states I could ship to and even shipping to the zip code w/ the sale going on I was unable to get that price shipped. Quite odd.

Ryan you need to change the way you post. Add a line saying who you are.

99% of the people here have no idea you own the place and using tappatalk it does not show you are moderator.

It's really weird 'cause it ALWAYS stuck for me; once in my cart at a given price it'd stay there all the way through checkout - provided I didn't change the store I was "shopping." But none of the stores I shopped were remotely close to my shipping address

I wasn’t able to replicate any of the zip code pricing either, everything came up at the Atlanta area pricing. Tried iPhone, chrome desktop, chrome incognito. Only one really bummed about is the radio because it never goes on sale.

Agreed, his policing around here is a little excessive. People should be able to discuss the products and vendors that they are considering buying without being bulleyed
