That seems to be the everyday price.

Haven't seen one on a promo for a while, so I picked one up in HD for $99 got my 10% military discount and just did the 11% rebate (Menards match) online so I paid $90 plus taxes and am getting a gift card for $11 making it roughly $80.

I have been waiting on the new grinder and table saw hoping for a free battery promo.

Me three, thing is I have a legit need for the grinder now. I can wait 'til Fall for a deal on the chainsaw and the table saw is just gravy for me since I'm about as far from a woodworker as you can get.

edit: I like how ToolUp calls their sale an early adopter sale, which I always have been w cordless tools. Other tech, I'm slow to adopt but I'm always first in line for cordless stuff -- never really regretted it, either

Yeah. Cordless doesnt really drop muchin price when a certain tool has been out a long time, it's just better to use 10-20% off on the newest stuff & enjoy it. Using even the older 2753 Fuel impact, I'd never go back to brushes like the 2656 driver.
I wish i skipped the Fuel sawzall for the new super sawzall. Oh well. Might still get it or the chainsaw when there's a coupon. The 12ah battery seems awesome.

there is a 10% off coupon for ebay, intended for back to school:

https://www.ebay.com/rpp/65148?_trkparms=&clkid=5682430501603610840

code is PUMPED10

only certain sellers.

searching for milwaukee stuff yields:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sho...niswine,zwilling_j.a._henckels&_nkw=milwaukee

which is for 76 items, including things like the water pump (one left, first page).

while most of it may not be great deals, there is often one or two good things buried in these lists. and if you need something anyway, even saving 5$ is worthwhile to me . . . .

YES. Check out the M12 lantern. It has a USB outlet so you can charge your phone using M12 batteries. I added that one to my hurricane kit this year.

Same, that is a great hurricane light. I used the hell out of both the lanterns last year during Irma...since then I've used them a lot too. They're the right size for a under desk, cabinet or attic kind of job. The radius and tower are great but soo bulky and bright, they eat through batteries too.

Not really a "hot deal" but I know a lot of guys are waiting on these. M12 Stubby impact wrenches up on Ohio Power Tool's site. $159 bare tool or $249 for kit with a 4.0ah battery.

Wow, a $90 premium for a 4.0 and charger. Assuming most of us are already swimming in chargers that ain't a good deal by any means. Even 6.0s can sometimes be had for $45

edit: I see it's a -22 but can't see details if both batteries are 4.0's? Even so, still not jump-for-joy great. Dunno why Milwaukee continues to waste our time w inferior amp ah offerings.

[please note that this is an amazon warehouse deal. the item may have been returned, or may have just fallen in the warehouse and suffered some packaging damage.

i usually post these things in the amazon non tool thread, but decided to post it here. if you folks would rather i not, i can always go back and post these kinds of things there.]

I figured it would be paired with a 2.0, which I was only able to confirm from a 7 hour old review on ProToolreviews.com

From a business aspect, they are going to sell more if they give you a 4. If you are given a lesser size, and you know there is a better one available, perhaps you are more inclined to buy it. But if you had the "best" already, you may not be so inclined to buy another 6. I dunno, that sounds like a stupid market answer, like pricing everything **.99.

I would prefer to only see 6's & cp3's included in kits, but I think it would be easier to convince Milwaukee to stop including, or even making xc3's & cp1.5. Those seem to be a waste of retail space.

I'd like to see a battery swap program. Be able to send in new-from-kit batteries, and upgrade them to larger sizes.

Cause they are catering to the masses that don't know any better, guessing most people that buy them, don't know the difference.

I think you're (we're) looking at this from a non standard perspective, being enthusiasts n a tool forum. I would suspect Milwaukee's market research points towards a majority of users being happy with the price point/battery performance combo and they don't have a real compelling reason to change it.

I was going to mention the price would go up for the kit, but forgot.

At least with dumping the 1.5s/3xc I'm thinking quantity pricing would drop on the larger cells if they dropped those, I'm probably wrong.

How come most of the Milwaukee rebates just say goods package instead of what you actually get this month?

I should have ordered the 2773-22 last month when it had the $700 black iron pipe jaws I needed and a $200 bandsaw. The new rebates ****!!

Rural King has the 2767 Impact for $199 and the 2780 Fuel 4.5" Grinder for $149

both with free 4.0 battery.

Maybe not screaming great deals, but not too shabby. At least for ********* MKE users, you're not getting yet another charger.

I can see it in the flyer, but the price doesn't reflect online. Is this an in-store only deal?

Sometimes their website doesn't get updated, and you have to call.

Heck, sometimes (like yesterday) their in-store POS system doesn't even know what's on sale, and you have to argue with a cashier to fix the pricing on two cans of PBlaster.

Pricing can be very good at Rural King, but sometimes it feels like you're slumming it at the Farmer's Dollar King Bargain Outlet Store.

Sorry I went off topic- but they do run some nice Milwaukee deals now and again.

See the Milwaukee display in HD pushing the 5.0 battery.
M18 grinder 2780-20 with a battery for $149, return the battery for $5* dollars and tool only for <$100. Thinking about that as I'd like the grinder but don't need any extra batteries, yet.

should be closer to $69.14 before tax you get back on that battery, that is if it is still ringing up $129 in store.

While online & in-store promotions might looks to be the same offer, they are consider separate due to online being a 'separate' entity than the rest of HD. Any of the promo's that are for a freebie item online, are not available for pickup or purchase in store, and are bundled under 1 internet sku (like in your link). If the store is running the free battery, because of inventory, the tool & 'free' battery are both scanned & the amount of the battery is taken off proportionally off the two items (nothing is really free).
