I know much more about the Milwaukee product line than the rep at my local store. It's just a paycheck for these guys

Has anyone heard if a Fuel version of this thing is going to come out? Also, what is the advantage of the m18 over the m12 version of this thing? It seems like the m12 would be a bit lighter/more wieldy than the m18 because of weight. I've considered picking one up but have been waiting for a Fuel version or a really killer deal before jumping in on one since I have no immediate need.

Is this an 'event' that has signage posted for it? If so, they don't have any additional deals to what are currently going on. They usually have some impact bits, markers, tape measure, or other smaller/cheaper items to give away. I've seen them just give the stuff away, other times they have contests or drawings.

Otherwise, your Milwaukee rep (some days they will wear Ryobi or Ridgid shirts, as they are their rep too) should be visiting each store in their area on a regular basis. They are usually just making sure everything is displayed where it is supposed to be & put up current promotional signage.

Event with signage. A small sign though. It specifically stated there would be special promotions and giveaways. Should have taken a picture...

I've went to 2. One last year, one the year before that. They did show off some tools that wren't normally on display/sold in store which was nice, but no extra promotions other than what was already going on. Best of luck if you go.

But as others have said, many GJ users know more about the tools than the often cute Milwaukee reps. So if you see me, don't judge if I appear to be tool unintelligent

I dunno but the tool free attachment change might be worth it on the M18. Something annoys me about having to balance the tool while digging up a hex key on my M12.

Anyway once you have one it's handy, but I mostly use it for trimming plastic. Hard cases for tools, excessive plastic around the headlamp bolts in my '11 SuperDuty (long story), the flange on a cat house door......they're useful.

The guy in naples was talking about the great deal! If you buy a reciprocating saw or a cut off you get a 5mah battery free. I thought it was the 9 mAH but it was the 5. Probably not a good deal or I would have heard about it here :)

If you didn't read about the tool from the NPS18 event, you will be waiting until next year to 'hear' anything about it. MWK rarely releases new tools without announcing them during this event. I can guarantee the amount of people wanting a Fuel version of this (me included) would garner spotlight in the NPS event & not in the off season.

Smaller accessory type tools sometime get released without announcement, such as the compact radius light w/ flood (though did get mention afterwards at NPS18). The only tool that came out with no heads up that I know recently, was the Gen2 Fuel Blower, and that was probably due it being so similar to the Gen1 & MWK still trying to sell Gen1 stock off.

If you are referring to the grinder as the cut-off tool, you can buy the grinder & 5ah in-store. The promo will will trigger the grinder to ring up ~$80, & the battery ~$70. Choose what you would like to do with the battery, keep or return :).

I would avoid using 'cut-off' to describe a grinder (if that is the case), at least now that Milwaukee has released a true M12 cut-off tool. Personally, I thought of the M12 rotary tool before the grinder as a cut-off tool, just because of the discs attached to the tool are usually referred to that, though that is often what a grinder ends up doing.

I think you are right. I didn't pay a lot of attention as I was just checking to see what I didn't have already. Don't know if it is a good deal. I could always use more 9ah batteries but 5's are growing on trees.

Have been debating on this one for awhile, Google Express has 20%off this kit is included.
M12 Multi
This thing hit my door today and is a pretty good deal. M12 oscillating multitool, battery, charger, and packout case for $99.

Wish I had this tool a few years ago when I had to strip some wallpaper.

there is a banner on the ebay homepage offering 10% ebay bucks when using the app (8% on the site). you need to click through the banner to activate it. in the past these were not one time things, but were good for all orders placed in the window.

not as good as 15% off, but the minimum is 25$, which might make up for it.

i hate the app. last time they offered this, i used the site to browse around, and put things in the cart, and then used the app to purchase. much easier, although likely not what they intend.

UPDATE: 1) only to registered and offered ebay bucks enrolled users (check your messages on your ebay account), 2) the 25$ applies to each item, not the cart.

Anyone got a discount code for ACME or Tool Nut that I can use on the new stubby impact wrench? I feel like the 3/8 at 250ft lb torque is sufficient for any needs for me on my car

The M18 12.0 battery is $200 alone and you can get the 2727-21 for $399 so I don't think it's a good deal at all.

How good a deal is 2494-22 for $169, and 2457-20 free? Is that a HD nationwide deal?

It shows up on the top of that linked page
Code is save3x and says can be used for your first 3 orders up to $20 discount each transaction. Also expires October 20th
I have never ordered anything from Google Express in the past, maybe that first one you did cancels this one out?
Where is the coupon on this? I used one like it in July, so maybe I can’t use it again.

I used it in July and again today. Possibly three x is the limit?

Picked up another M12 in the Packout case for $86.83 all in. Acme Tool sells the five bins for the Packout for $5 and has the trays for the larger Packouts for ~$8.50

I needed the drill and impact for gifts, so I am just putting them in one of my many bags and keeping the packouts. lol

Eh, all day for 100-120 on OfferUp!!

Not in my neck of the woods.
Very little on offerup or C-list.

Now an hour plus away in Nashville they start popping up.
9.0 batteries with the upc corner ripped off, not suspicious at all.

So the 9.0 is selling for $80 on O-up and currently HD has a 9.0/rapid charger + another 9.0 for $199. I'd just buy HD kit I guess.
