It would have been nice but by the time the tax was on my order it was still $349.

Still a good deal. I think it's sort of late to be complaining about tax, in reality all retailers should be collecting it by now. If taxes are really getting you, start a farm, which are tax exempt :)

I'm looking at your SN, and seems sort of ironic. Don't taxes pay your wages (if you are a FF)? With that, I wouldn't have an issue with public safety people not paying certain taxes, as most aren't compensated enough as it is.

True statements made on multiple fronts. I do feel it’s still a good deal for sure. However I do miss the days of no tax on online orders, maybe I am wrong for feeling that way but it is what it is :)

Does anybody know how long the Home Depot "Special Buy" deals usually last? Last week I got the 3/8 Ratchet w/free battery for $99, but now I'm thinking I'm better off getting this 5 tool deal for $199 that includes the ratchet since I could use some of the other tools as well. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...teries-Charger-and-Tool-Bag-2498-25/304708058

Money is tight right before Christmas, so I'd rather wait until after Christmas to return my ratchet and get this deal, but I don't want to miss out on it

That deal has been going on for quite a while, but I wouldn't be surprised if after Christmas, the deal is called off by the website. The only deals that are going to remain active 'till the end of January are the BOGO offers in-store

They must have only had one kit available? The cheapest I'm seeing now is $209,and the vendor is in Miami so I'd have to pay tax. Better deal through HD unless another ebay coupon comes along

There needs to be a price breakdown at checkout for the battery to be returnable. Otherwise, it is considered as part of the Special Buy of the Week Kit

This might beat the previous deal for the fuel packout kit.

Saw it on Slickdeals front page. This one is the same kit (I think) but comes with an extra 5.0 battery/rapid charger kit. Return the battery/charger kit to make it a sweet deal.

It might be a better deal. However I already took back the one I originally bought and purchased this one. I am done. I got a good deal. It will make a great deal for somebody who grabs it.

Same here. Home Depot would have to take 10% off for me to consider refusing the CPO/eBay package coming tomorrow ($323). Even then, that's $37 more for a 5ah & rapid charger, which on it's own is great, but with all the hassle (and no guarantee I get 10% happy rep), I think I'm calling Xmas done

Anybody else got a cancellation of an order from CPO? I just got my stubby cancelled that I ordered this weekend. It was in stock when i placed the order but not in stock now. Supposedly when it comes back in stock I can get a price match with the ebay 15% coupon but we will see. They do not have an ETA when it will be back in stock. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth about CPO.

It happens when dealing with a high volume retailer. As long as they honor the exact price once it comes in stock I wouldn't sweat it.

Ironically it is now showing back in-stock/'More than 10 available' at $140 on CPO's ebay page. If it's the 3/8 they cancelled you may want to call when they open tomorrow.

I said screw it and bought from another vendor. Had to pay tax with CPO so even with ebay coupon I bought for about the same price and it already shipped this morning. Pretty shady that mine got cancelled and literally 2 hours later they were in stock. Wont be buying from CPO anymore.

Almost very pleased here. My only gripe is their contract with UPS doesn't allow delivery change through My Choice UPS (at least for eBay orders). Was really hoping to have it held at the local UPS store or hub, or even delayed a day. Can't wait for that conversation tomorrow :(

Much better than the 3 Milwaukee USB flashlights I bought together, shipped in 3 separate boxes that each could have held a 6-pack of them.

International has a 2-pack of USB lights, flashlight & flood, for $99. Not an amazing deal, but decent.

Man, y'all have it rough. My wife doesn't say a word about my tool purchases.

Could be that her purchases outdo me 2:1 at least.

I don’t want to give the wrong impression. I have a great wife. And she normally doesn’t say a word. However when you go from seeing a lot of black boxes to bright red ones it does send some signals. First time she has said stuff in a couple of years.

That's why I have everything delivered to my office then she doesn't see the packages on the front porch. Once they are in the garage she never says a word questioning what's in the garage even when a new $3k welder magically appeared in there one day!

Great deal! You are going to love it. I am amazed at how much power it has. Plus it doesn't eat the battery up real fast.

I have thought about buying the sawzall. I have the hackzall. But I feel that the sawzall would have a lot more power. Where the hackzall is more for fine tuning.

They are probably close in power the Fuel sawzall & hackzall. I wish Milwaukee would publish some kind of torque or power specs for the recip saws. The SPM are the same & stroke is 7/8 vs 1 1/8. Now the new Fuel Super Sawzall is likely a whole different animal.
