They are probably close in power the Fuel sawzall & hackzall. I wish Milwaukee would publish some kind of torque or power specs for the recip saws. The SPM are the same & stroke is 7/8 vs 1 1/8. Now the new Fuel Super Sawzall is likely a whole different animal.

That’s the one I was looking at. The Super Sawzall.

I have thought about buying the sawzall. I have the hackzall. But I feel that the sawzall would have a lot more power. Where the hackzall is more for fine tuning.

I have both. 90% of the time I grab the hackzall. Plenty of power at 1/3 the weight. But when I need the big guy I’m reminded at how much more power the fuel sawzall has. Def a beast

Brushed Hackzall is pretty weak, PVC or thin hardwood or softwood. Use good blades, it's a must.

M12 Fuel Hackzall, plenty of power. Comparable to the brushed Sawzall but it cuts slower due to the shorter stroke.

Fuel One Key Sawzall, insane..

Super Sawzall, insaner

I don't own any of the M18 Hackzalls

My m18 fuel hackzall and fuel sawzall are interchangable with what they will cut. I just prefer the sawzall if im going to be making multiple cuts. Much easier to hold for long periods

This kit at $369 seems like a really good deal, but I'm not sure if the text specification of the 2704 is a typo. The 2997 kit would have a 2804. One of the batts is a 6.0 so not sure if kits are coming this way now or Int'l is trying to assemble one with their own stock?

It's all pre-packed from Milwaukee, International is just forwarding them on. I've seen a few instances of the models included in the details being wrong this year. Mine arrived yesterday. Just like last year's rolling Packout fuel kit deal, you don't get any organizing trays. Sort of a bummer, but Milwaukee did send me out one for free last year, so hopefully they will again.

If they don’t you can order them on Acme Tool for $9.

Went in-store looking for this deal but found the one key first gen instead...b15e573dd2fc351337a56baba8069bdf.jpge644dfddd9c00d71bf198adf85627660.jpg

Wow that’s a great deal. I don’t really know much about the one key but seems like it adds quite a bit to the cost of the tool normally. Nice score for sure.

Already posted, but going through HD this week, gets you another 5ah & rapid charger for the same $399
I've been checking out this kit and your post about getting another 5ah and rapid charger really piqued my interest. I can't duplicate it though on their site.

Great find, so $197 shipped to me with no tax. About $23 cheaper than the bay 'deal' I found LOL.

For anyone who has the m18 wet/dry vacuum, is the battery really hard to get out? I had a XC battery in it and had to get my hand under it to push it out, if I put a 9.0 in there it would be very hard to get out since I probably couldn't get my hand under it.

Mine is easy to get the 9.0 in and out of. You are pushing in the retention buttons on top of the battery when trying to pull it out, correct?

I'd imagine if you just turn it up on its side so you aren't fighting gravity that it would slide right out.

I've found that sometimes there are tight fits on individual tools. I have one M18 fan that the batteries slide in and out easily and one that is a huge pain in the **** to get a battery out. It just happens sometimes in manufacturing/assembly.

I have that issue with my Ego blower; it won't just go on, I have to push it in hard to latch.

That's a good deal if you want to get into the M12 system. Last week I bought the other 5 piece kit that only comes with 2 batteries for $198, because I wanted the ratchet instead of the multi-tool

The 1.5 AH batteries are my least favorite of the M12.

Well they were the very first of the M12 pod style compacts :)

And in their defense they DO charge the fastest :D

That brushed impact driver will go a long way on a 1.5 battery

I have two of them

*Tip that's one of the only impacts that if you put a 1 inch #2 bit in the collet it will dimple a sheetrock screw just about perfect.

Most likely the oscillating tool will chow one down fairly quick but there are 3

Drill/driver so so with battery life using a 1.5. Cant beat having a 4.0 though also helps the drill standup better

I always liked the M12 flashlight have mine in my tool bag most all the time

I don’t like the M12 or M18 flashlights, but some of Milwaukee’s other lights are great. My favorite small one is the USB flood that costs $50-60. Have 2 or 3 of them. Different battery system, though. I like the M12 spotlight with a square base battery. Have not tried otherM12 lights. I have a few M18 lights, though.

Wasn't there a 1.0? After amassing a collection of 1.5 and 2.0 I swear I gave away a handful of the 1.0. I don't even know if they had the RedLithium branding.

Edit: My first Milwaukee Tools were purchased through a connection that worked at Milwaukee during a holiday employee sale. They may not have ever been available to the public, but I paid $7 each for 4 or 5 of them and remember paying $12 each for a few M18 XC batteries. This must have been 2012 or so.
