I would put the $30 towards a different light. Those flashlights are my least favorite Milwaukee lights out of the 8 different lights I have.

Wasn't there a 1.0? After amassing a collection of 1.5 and 2.0 I swear I gave away a handful of the 1.0. I don't even know if they had the RedLithium branding.

Edit: My first Milwaukee Tools were purchased through a connection that worked at Milwaukee during a holiday employee sale. They may not have ever been available to the public, but I paid $7 each for 4 or 5 of them and remember paying $12 each for a few M18 XC batteries. This must have been 2012 or so.

As far as I know not Red Lithium

that M18 light for 30$ is a deal. might have to check out the local ace hardware after xmas to see if they are available here. for that money, I might get several.

Very good price

I like that M18 light it is much better than the M12 for general work something like a quick light under a vehicle or simple plumbing repair because it stands up so well with the large battery pack compared to an M12 (though the streamlined M12 I often put right in my back pocket when I need a simple light especially for entering all the dark in powered barns where I work.

I got the same light as kit including a 4.0 battery for a free add on when they were dumping $399 Gen 1 FUEL combo kits for like $220 right after the Gen 2 release. Good deal at the time.

I'm with pbon, this is my least favorite light. I'd rather pay full price for the stick light than get this one on sale. The stick light is awesome, I reach for it 100% of the time.

The 2735 is very practical and functional. Ironically, I just boxed one for E-service today - just doesn't work. But for $30 good deal

Freshly torqued to that, or torqued to that 6 months ago? As parts sit and corrosion occurs it will take more and more torque to break them free. Also were you running any extensions, adapters, etc. All of those will reduce the available torque.

Torqued the day before so no corrosion. No exenion just a 3/8 drive deep well impact socket.Battery was a fresh full charge.Maybe it needs a bigger battery?
Set on 3 is the most power right?

Even that long could let some corrosion occur. If your using a compact battery than an XC 4.0 or 6.0 could help. I would bet that's how they got their torque numbers. And yes setting 3 is the highest torque.

Wish I could help you more but the most I've undone with a known torque setting is my lugs with a 100 ft/lb torque spec. And it didn't have any problems with those.

Actually 3 isn't the most power, for removal at least. The non-numbered option has the most. I did the same thing trying to remove some corroded caliper bolts. I also learned that same session the amount of torque lost on a swivel adapter. I used the adapter to avoid turning the front wheel to get more room, but after getting more clearance, a straight shot with only the socket took it off.

The old style was my first battery impact wrench. Bought it about 10 years ago. Gave it to a friend a year or two ago and it’s still in service. I bought some of the newer ones.

I think we’d all agree that, yes, for 75%+ more money you typically get a better tool :)

I paid $114.74 for my 2861-20 mid torque 1/2” friction ring impact off eBay last summer with a coupon. It was brand new in box. $3.74 isn’t much to worry about. Nobody needs to buy that outdated non fuel impact.

scam. only feedback (2) is from them as a buyer.

they sold 47 of them at 36.99$= 1738.53$.

Honest question, and I don’t use eBay a whole lot and have never had a problem, but wouldn’t PayPal make it difficult to scam? Wouldn’t I be able to get my money back if they never sent or sent the wrong item?

eBay has fantastic buyer protection. I’ve gotten into hot water a couple times and they always protect and refund with almost no hassle. Makes me very comfortable using eBay and PayPal.

It’s pretty easy to spot scammers, too low of price, no feedback etc. the only time I felt truly duped was an order from China that gave a lead time of a month to ship. The day came and went and when I went to submit a form it said the window of time for complaints had closed. A small claims form later it got cleared up as well.

I had a guaranteed delivery of 12/21. I emailed them and they said it was cancelled it because no inventory. But the NEVER TOLD ME until I emailed.

Then I didn't get a refund so I emailed them again today, they screwed that up too. They ended up finally sending me the cancellation today with refund.

When I asked about honoring the price they said they will have to go to management to approve.

Ridiculous... I left them a "nice" review, not that it means anything, just made me feel better.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you... Their emails almost didn't make sense. I haven't received a refund yet either.

That’s really weird. I order the 3 piece kit with the packout through eBay and there countdown day deals. Shipped and received one day earlier then expected. It said to hear others are having issues. Seems that a ton of people ordered that stubby impact for sure.

I had that happen to me before. I spoke with eBay and they took 15% off whatever items I had in my cart when I called (or rather I had them call me). Just tell them you would have bought another item had you known they were going to cancel.

CPO never sees the 15% off price. If you ever have a refund to PayPal for an item that originally had a coupon, it will show the full price amount being returned from the vendor, but then PayPal/eBay corrects it to the discounted amount.

Edit: Leave them a "nice" review before it's cancelled. I don't think you can after they cancel.

LMAO!

Maybe I could use this reasoning if I bounce a check (which I don't do, not that checks are super relevant any longer).

"Dear Merchant: I'm very sorry. When I wrote the check there was money in my account. When you presented the check, funds had depleted thus the check was returned to you NSF.

Thank you for choosing me and have a great day!"

That's how I bought mine. I don't recall getting a shipping notification, but I had it in less than a week.

ACME sale catalog had something similar once the existing stock was depleted they wouldn't match the advertised sale on incoming inventory because of the new price increases.

Some "deals" seem to be a get it when you can thing right now :wtf:

I got screwed by CPO on the stubby too. Got a cancellation a week after I placed the order because it was "out of stock when they got ready to ship". 2 hours later it was back in stock. I ordered from another vendor for a few dollars more. Will not do business with CPO again. Very shady.
