Does Milwaukee make an adapter for impact wrenches that turn it into an Impact Driver. I seen a Bosch youtube video that they had 1, But I can find it anywhere.

1st, this is the Milwaukee deal thread. You would be better off asking/looking in the Milwaukee Addiction thread in Tool Discussion.

2nd, you didn't google it I almost guarantee. Let Me Google for you. First pic is for the 1/2"

3rd, Irwin has similar adapters that are on sale on woot.com right now (2 hours left)

would a 1/4" socket work (or what ever hex size size the driver bit is)?

Good idea, but the socket won't retain the bit, either by a ring or magnet. So while it would work, it wouldn't be fun.

@2manytools. I see your one of those that jumps to conclusions, I did google it, looked on Milwaukee.com, and even now with the part # cant find it on their website. So excuse me for not wording the search correctly. Piss off

He actually answered your question fully, with links and even added some humor.

Lighten up.

My local Home Depot had 4 of them for $199 with 9.0. Regular price was listed at $299. They were sitting out in the seasonal section in front with the last of the holiday overstock tools.

Thanks for this--I checked two local stores--first one had a display hanging with the rest of the string trimmers, but no stock; went to the less busy store close by, and they had the display plus two boxed ones.

Price at Home Despot is $199.00 for 2725 String Trimmer, 9.0 battery pack and charger
UPC code 045242482283.

Same as this one:

I saw that Home Depot had the old M18 String Trimmer Kit at $219.00 with free shipping at the link shown above. I've had one of these in my cart at Rural King for $199.00, but it did not include free shipping. Since I really didn't need it, I decided to hold off. I looked at Rural King's site once again today and noticed it now shows up at $169.93 for the kit. I pulled the trigger and was all in for $199.42 shipped with tax included. This is the cheapest I've seen so far for the old style kit including shipping and taxes. This Hot Deals section of the site seems to be costing me a lot of money lately!

EDIT:

I got to thinking about Home Depot matching prices, so I chatted with an agent. She was able to verify and match Rural King's price, and included free shipping. I ended up canceling the Rural King order and buying at HD for $181.82 shipped.

CPO has 15% off a lot of M18 items today. What is good is most of the buy M18 Fuel kit and 1 bare tool get $150 off, most of them stack with the 15%.

What's a good price on 2446-20
The M12 grease gun?

https://www.cpomilwaukee.com/milwau...with-xc-battery/miln2446-21xc,default,pd.html

$199 for the gun and XC battery. You also get the 6.0 battery for free as a bonus ($99 retail)

99$ for the bare tool seems common. buying on ebay might avoid tax, if that is an issue.

at this point, Milwaukee seems to have enough control that the prices are pretty flat across most of the platforms. discounts seem to be everywhere at the same time. occasionally you get something like CPO offering N percent off everything, although I have noticed when they do that sometimes some items go out of stock for the duration of the sale. dont know if it is them or Milwaukee. neither would really surprise me.

if you have a discount coupon somewhere, that is likely your best bet. I have also found that HD will accept Lowes coupons, as an example.

Sounds like a 15% off coupon is available today for MOBILE users using the eBay app. Code is PSAVETODAY. Lots of exclusions, but looks like tools are good to go. Saw it on a deal site and figured I'd pass it along.

I've really been wanting one of those M12 rivet guns, this might be a good way to get a deal on one of those.

You guys think they will ever come out with an M12 rivnut gun or should I just go buy one of those Astro units that is drill driven?

Thanks!
Finally pulled the trigger on a Milwaukee m18 barrel grip jigsaw. Been holding out for some sort of discount or coupon.

This looks like a really good deal for what it is... is there anything better to be expected anytime soon? I may finally break down and order the trimmer. And it'd be nice to have a larger battery, currently don't have anything over 5.0

Anyone have any deals on the combo kits? I’m looking at the m18 9 pc kit. I missed the toolup one as I just saw it today.

Is this a good deal? Saw it at HD yesterday. I've been comparing Milwaukee, DeWalt, and Ryobi trying to decide which to get.31fffbaf7d795957ed9fdb431a2926d6.jpg

I started off buying Ryobi, I now have tons of Milwaukee. Honestly I feel like I should’ve went with Milwaukee all along because thanks to this site I’ve been able to get deals that seem like are only a few bucks more than Ryobi. I do have dewalt tools but mainly my corded woodworking stuff.

It's okay, but not a GOOD deal. If they were fuel, then it would be pretty good. Just for reference, a few weeks back HD had the fuel drill, impact, hackzal, packout case, and bigger batteries for 350.

Thanks! I'll keep on the lookout. I'm planning on picking something up over the next few months. June is likely with father's day sales.

I tend to only buy FUEL models, although there are a few things (like the M12 polisher) that are not available as FUEL.

while they are more expensive, I view myself as a long term player, and the extra expense is easier to accept knowing that I will be using these tools for a looooong time. I upgraded from some craftsman C19 (was that the name? it hasn't been that long, although I think that line might be gone now) tools. I had gone through two sets of batteries, and was looking at new ones (lithium) which were expensive enough that I considered upgrading the tools too, and found my way here.

being able to buy from more than one store, the substantially larger assortment of tools, and the regular updates (to existing tools, and the addition of new tools and batteries on the platform) made it an easy decision.

Well, I'm likely going to be looking to add to the M18 platform as I just found a deal on a string trimmer I couldn't pass up.
Home Depot is closing out the 2725-21hd fuel string trimmer for $199.00. I then had them price beat Rural Kings price by 10% by asking and got it for $152 plus tax.
