Found this on Slickdeals.

Homedepot has this on sale.Regular on-sale price during holiday seasons but this time it comes with a packout case, which is more useful than the typical tool bag or case.

It has a smaller ratcheting head compared to the Fuel version, which may be good for tight areas. Some people say that the rubber handle tend to wear out quicker than the one on the M12 Fuel. Also, probably less torque than Fuel.

Overall, I think it's a good value at $99.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauke...kl2pWwvwSDs2g0

On the plus side, the head is smaller. I use mine on a regular basis and although a little extra torque would be nice I wouldn't be able to use it where I do if the head was bigger. I have no intention of getting the fuel model.

I disagree about the hackzall. I have the non fuel, and use it all the time. Do i use it for demo all day? No, but it's really great for cutting rafters for pocketing micro lams, cutting studs in existing walls, and such.

+1.

I sold all my M12 stuff and replaced with M18. Got the reciprocating saw instead of the hacksaw.

While I LOVE the reciprocating saw, I miss the hacksaw. Perfect for one handed operations, especially in tights spots. Plan on buying one soon.

This s decent deal???
It's the Milwaukee m18 dual bevel mitre saw, with free 12.0 battery

Link doesn't work. If you are looking at that miter saw, I'd recommend buying in-store, so you can return the battery. The saw will end up as $423, and the battery at $176 on the receipt. 12ah batteries are going for $120 now on eBay, or maybe you already have one from buying another new kit, but the "free" battery can be had for cheaper

Sorry, the link is broke...but you are right. It's that saw. And yes, I planned on returning the battery. Online has free shipping. The receipt different if I buy online?? No stock anywhere near me. Assuming I could return the battery for store credit. Won't go to waste for me.

Not possible to split with online purchases, well 99% of the time. Unless they show as two separate items in the cart, you can not do what you were planning on. Only possible with in-store "freebies." If you want to attempt, bring a military buddy in, and ask to have 10% taken off THE SAW (or $50, which is cashiers limit with out manager, and even then many mgrs will do it). If they take the 10% off like normal, it will cancel the free battery promo. Now your new out the door total is based on $550, bringing the saw to $378. Ymmv, but worth a shot.

Buy the M12 Rocket light, get a free XC 6.0 battery at HD.

This may not start until tomorrow's Spring BF, but the promo displays are on the floor already.

sometimes, depending on how the sale is structured, you can put the individual items in the cart, and the deal will manifest itself, along with detail on the return value of each item. if you dont see it detailed in the cart, it is not available.

of course, if Milwaukee is placing the "free" item inside the box at the factory, this doesn't work: the battery is not in retail packaging, and can't be returned separately.

$75 if you get the 9.0 battery with it. Other wise you are paying too much for a display

Please share where you think you can get this for $75? I'd pay $75 for one without a battery cause I already have enough but I'll take a battery cause why not!

Edit: I will leave my original comment but now I see what you did there lol!! I was actually excited for a few minutes but now I realize how long of a day it has been.

Unless it goes to clearance at that price, or you have a manager that is cool or hates yellow tag items to mark it down, the $75 price is unlikely.

It's a display I imagine very few people actually touched, and was never used for actually cutting. I'd show the Rural King ad, and ask for $20-25 more off. I think that is much more likely. And that's only if you get the 9ah & rapid charger

At Home Depot. I got brand new sealed with 9.0 battery and rapid charger for $75.00 back in 2017. It’s 2019! if you are paying more than that. It’s not a deal for a display.

All depends on the area. Everyone snagged them at .06 around here back then. Now they are being bought at $199 pretty regularly at my stores. That was then, this is now.

The battery goes for $80 by itself after market, and the display is worth more than $-5, so I'd pay more if you need a trimmer. If it hits $75, and it's the last one, there's a good chance it will sell before you can get it.

I do hope I'm wrong, and wish you the best of luck at getting one. And maybe getting some price adjustments for anyone else who bought recently.

I snagged the trimmer for $152 plus tax. It was NIB and had been marked down to $199 clearance. I asked them to PM Rural king then beat it by 10% and they agreed. This was in store. I would like to find another deal like this so I can have a 2nd battery though.

Not so much a power tool, but I think it'll qualify...

Got a "open box" M12 Heated jacket - toughshell, 2.0 battery, adapter (with USB) and charger for $109. Choice of colors (black, grey, camo) and sizes, mens/womens, vests, hoodies, etc.

Jacket's only at $89

I got a grey one - Much cheaper than the $250 I spent on the one for the better half a couple years ago (it came with a 2.0 and 3.0, but still...)

I picked up the brushless drill and impact driver for $150 the other day and they arrived. The packout case is super nice, but also did not come with the foam or the dividers. Where can I get these?

Thinking of getting the Milwaukee quick loc trimmer, comes with hedge attachment for $329. Anyone here use the hedge attachment? Have some bushes I could use this on, instead of getting out the ladder.

Do they still have more? I was just there Monday to pick something else up but didn't think to look around for Milwaukee stuff.

Yes, I was there yesterday afternoon and they were wheeling out a pallet of boxes (of these jackets) to put on the shelf so perfect timing on my part :). When I got done at the service desk, I went and checked them out.

They'll go quickly though - they sold 3 in the 20 minutes I was there and the cashier asked me "did you hear that we have open box jackets? - we don't advertise and last year people swarmed in to buy them, they were gone in a couple days!".

I have the trimmer and edger and like them a lot. Sold off the gas powered stuff. I do not have tall hedges but did order the gen 1 hedge trimmer for my yard, should be here Monday.

I haven't seen them for this price. I did just get the first gen trimmer on clearance. It would be nice to have the quick LOC system, but I figured I didn't need it for more than double the price.

Do the Milwaukee charger/radios ever go on sale? I have been looking for any style, but they never seem to be on sale.

Don't have the Quick Loc, but I've got their string trimmer, and it's a beast.

Got rid of the gas trimmers entirely.

If there's an option to have a trimmer that good that has versatile attachments, I'd say it's a no-brainer. Just do it.

Just looked it up. The bare trimmer looks like it's fairly cheap.

For those of you in Iowa, Acme Tools (only Des Moines or Cedar Rapids) is having a two-day sale with Milwaukee tools 15% off. Other manufacturers are on sale as well, with the discount varying.

Thank you sir. I stopped in on my way to work today and snagged a vest for $80. My 2-3 year old jacket is great, but a little bulky when in the garage.

No problem - Just FYI - they have a pretty good selection of reconditioned Milwaukee tools as well. Both at the front of the store in the main display, but also back past the service desk, there's a bunch as well. Not always great deals, but sometimes there's some good ones in there (kind of like goodwill or restore :)).

Well I have a troy bilt core string trimmer and blower. They work awesome, but I NEED a hedge trimmer, especially on a pole....UGH, Decisions, decisions.

Do it.

I've had just about every brand of cordless string trimmer shy of Stihl and Makita, and while they're all WAY better than gas for everyday use, that Milwaukee...

It doesn't screw around. The battery lasts a long time, they're not going to stop making them (like the others that change every year), and it has the power to really back up it's claims.

If I didn't already have one I'd certainly look at those interchangeable feature units.

These could be used by professional landscapers. I'm one of those people that doesn't give a rat's *** about having a perfect lawn, and I have other properties that I need to clear out for burning stuff frequently. I routinely push this through stuff that would have stalled my old Echo.

It's not magic, and it's still a string trimmer, but it's night and day versus other brands. Your batteries will last much longer, because if you're looking, you're already using them in other stuff more than likely.

That means they won't just sit there discharging or overheating for two seasons a year.

I am a Milwaukee user, have over 15 tools. With that being said the trimmer was ok but I took it back. I now have an EGO and it blows it away. So for yard tools I have stayed with EGO. Everything else I have almost converted to Milwaukee.

I know some will disagree with my opinion but I would venture to guess they have not had them both side by side as I did to see the reasons I picked EGO.
