On backorder, but the Pole saw & trimmer kit for $329 is back on Home Depot. HD black friday sale ends tomorrow, but I have no idea how long the Mwk promo will really run.

hedge trimmer promo also on backorder

All are available again. Even found out the one I ordered last night on back-order would be at the store tomorrow.

Got an email from them this morning saying they had "limited supply" and cancelling my order. It is one thing to say back order and make me wait. But to accept the order and payment and then back out of their deal?

Not a good marketing plan for them.

I knew cancellations were coming. They ran out originally in the morning, then had 100 suddenly available in the afternoon (then up to 129 or so), then gone from the site.

Not looking to buy right now, but if I wanted a M18 Drill, Impact, Circular saw 2 batteries of decent capacity and a charger, what would be the best price that happens somewhat frequently with HD or whomever's sales? Do they offer any kits like that, or do all of them have to include something else like a light or recip saw?

I think it amazing that the vendor can offer to sell, accept an order and payment, and then effectively unilaterally revoke the contract to sell. I don't care that they ran out, that is a reason to back order me until new inventory arrives. They revoked because they don't want to honor the price.

If you had a contract to buy a house and the seller revoked it because he decided he sold too cheap would that be ok.

Sorry to vent. I will never buy anything from them.

Lots of people get mad about international tool and they do cancel orders but when the do fulfill the order you get a great deal. Not that I'm defending them but as long as you didn't pass on something else to buy something from them, you didn't really loose anything, just didn't gain anything.

Yeah thats crappy. Amazingly TB honored 4 of my orders for the 3 of the M12 cutters & free 6.0s for $299, they finally removed the double promo on it the other day.

I agree Bruce. I found a decent price (not amazing) on an OTC kit I wanted. The vendor charged my card then waited over a full business week to cancel it, claiming a pricing error. I wrote them a scathing response. They replied back with the same whining about OTC raising their prices.

I'm not sure how that is my problem. I bought the kit I wanted from another vendor for about $5 more.

I am looking at Milwaukee batteries.

The 5.0 looks like a nice upgrade.

What is a good price to watch for on these?

t\Thanks, Bruce
Locally there is guys selling them on craigslist or offer up. 2 pack with charger for around 120. I got 2 for 80 without charger recently

Home depot has a lot of kits for about 30 bux more than the hammer drill by itself. Can buy kit then sell what you dont need on craigslist Ebay offer up etc and you will get it for cheap.
That's a GREAT price! I got the ratchet for Christmas but bought the hammer drill + impact + batteries kit for $199 - getting the ratchet included too is fantastic. For me the ratchet quickly turned into one of my most used tools in the garage. I should sell the impact though, I don't think I have a use for it.

Sounds a plan after thinking about it. I should get the pole saw one as well because that's the function I am missing.

Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using The Garage Journal mobile app

I just got the newer split shaft trimmer with a 9.0 and pole saw attachment on special at HD for $329.

Sold the battery for $100, Sold the older string trimmer for $150, selling charger for 30. Net upgrade cost is $50 but i got the pole saw out of it. IMO the new string trimmer is MUCH more solid and powerful than the original.

If you dont need it immediately i would have to think there is going to be sales/deals for memorial day weekend coming up.

Wait for the $329 deal. I used a 25 off too. The trimer works great, and the hedge trimmer shredded through my bushes

Nick Morello the Facebook tool guy has a deal on the M18 Fuel hackzall that is decent. Same guy that has been posted on here a few times with the Facebook groups.
269 for the -21 kit and a free add-on. Probably like most free deals, milwaukee has it running for certain dealers.

The m18 hackzall kit is often $150 and the vacuum is $80. I just don't see the deal here.
