Got my m12 light today and battery. e0bc14ee3724d79b434fa177cb3a6980.jpg

Mine and the extra battery arrived today. The light is a much easier size to manage than the M18 rocket light my buddy has. The high setting is plenty bright to illuminate one side of my car for washing it in the dark (minimizes water spots). It does a good job of lighting up a single room or about half my garage. I think it’s a keeper.

Whats a good price for the m12 6.0 or 4.0AH batteries (pack of 2)?

I wouldn't pay more than $60 per 6ah battery. Probably a decent rule would be less than $10 per ah, with a slight premium for the compact 3.0

If you buy the M12 rocket light in store at HD right now, you get a 'free' 6ah battery. The pro-rating takes the light to $90, and the battery to $60. Keep what you want

M12 Fuel 2504 Hammer drill bare tool for $59.95 on Amazon. I just grabbed one. It was down to $54 at one time last year, but hasn't been this cheap since.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001R5LY3O/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Well it showed up today and WOW What a little Powerhouse
Amazon is the Bomb for Milwaukee tools. I Checked what tools I have bought at HD on special buys and get something free and Amazon deals either matched or beat HD specials.
Just an FYI before you pull the trigger on Home Depot Special Check Amazon
Thanks Again for the Heads Up

Never hurts to check. Just an FYI, your warranty will be based off the serial # & manufacturing date, as Amazon is not an authorized reseller. That's a newer tool, so at most a year, year and a half off the 5 I would guess.

You so I'll could buy through HD, wand have them price match Amazon. I don't know when HDs p ice match policy changed, but it says they will match any competitor.

So a 1 year old tool on Amazon has less of a warranty then if bought from Home Depot??

That is good information!

That because its not Authorized Dealer. Same as you buy on the street. It will go by the Tool Serial Date. If you got it at HD you would of got 5 year Warranty from Date of Purchase.

Buying old kits for cheap are good at HD and other Authorized dealer really for the Batteries since you will get 2 or 3yr from Date of purchase on those batteries. Some of those kits batteries are already past 2 years.

Bare tools I really don't care much just whatever is cheaper unless is only a few $ more at a Authorized Dealer.

Valid points on the warranties but my batteries are 9+ years old and still going strong so in practice it might not matter that much.

I agree. I rented a 20” gas saw from HD for 4hrs. I still had a bunch cutting to do and bought the Milwaukee. I’m very happy with it.

It’s like having a gas saw with an electric start and no exhaust.

EBay has 20% off at CPO. Today is last day. It'll bring the price down to $240 bare tool.

Has anyone bought the free 5.0 ah battery promo tools in store? I am thinking about picking up one of the small metal cutting circular saws but they aren't doing the buy online anymore.

I believe it was 199$. that is what I paid. the three parts were on sale also, and combined ended up at the same price.

some of the other boxes were also reduced. . . . . .

That $226 price is about what it was at HD after taxes. Don't think it ever was $150.00.

I got the Base with a package and then picked up 1 of the Larges and 2 Small boxes on ebay with coupons.

I kind of remember a couple people finding the 3pc for $150 on clearance. But I don't remember it ever being widely on sale for that price.

The rigid is definitely cheaper, you don't need to qualify that as opinion. Better depends on what things matter to you. Ridgid has very little variety of boxes. For someone looking for a 3 box set for remodel work the Ridgid kit is tough and gets the job done. For van racking, drawers, and diverse box types tough system will be better than the Ridgid at an even cheaper price if you get the right sales. For finish work and smaller vehicles or in the shop tstak will be a better fit.
Packout is a bigger box, but they are really targeting more at trades that need more parts storage. Notice how many of their boxes have clear lids? Half height and half width boxes, integrated backpacks and tech bags. For most people the choice between packout and Ridgid should be pretty clear, with the DeWalt systems an option for either.

Black Friday International Tool was doing the 3pc Packout at $179? I think it was, delivered.

That's how I got mine, they came through although International can be a little sketchy they're ok.

Otherwise $199 is competitive retail. It was $199 at HD BF -- if it was ever $150 that was clearance and likely store/region specific
