I can’t get it to double up the discount. Either they fixed it or it depends on which 2 items you add.

On some sites as long as you have 1 item from the $25 off $100 section and add any other Milwaukee item to get over $100 it will give the $25 off.

There is a glitch with their cart. If you add two items it takes off $25 for each item.

That is a pretty good deal. I've gone through 2 of them over the years.. they are awesome.

The fuel one never really looked that great for me. The smaller size was more important than more power for that particular tool, at least for what I work on usually

Ahh man. If I didn't already have one that would be a no brainer !

Totally agree with you. I have no idea why the new ones are so big. I think the larger size offsets the larger power benefits.

The fuel ratchet is way more robust than the standard m12. After going through no less than 3 standard m12 ratchets I was ecstatic for the m12 fuel. It has not let me down yet.

I purchased the fuel 3/8 ratchet and have been pretty pleased with it. I normally always stuck with hand tools as I couldn’t stand the sound of my air ratchet. But I have been trying to use this more and more. I do feel it’s a little big for certain situations but overall happy. What size battery you guys run with it?

I usually run a small 2.0 battery on my ratchets. The only thing I use the 6.0 on is the stubby impact, rocket light, and the soldering iron (so it can stand up).

Yeah, I can't pass on that one. Now I can sell all of my old Dewalt 18v NiCd stuff.

I finally just did that too, although I went with the $199 Home Depot M12 Fuel driver/drill/ratchet kit. If Makita had made a smallish cordless ratchet, I'd have gone with them since I'm still a bit ticked over having my 14.4v and 18v Milwaukee stuff go high and dry. I kept the 14.4v kit since it's fun to look at 'Made in USA' on a Milwaukee tool now and again.

We'll see how it goes, I think it's a mixed bag. The batteries are no doubt quite a lot better, but I'm suspicious that they underdesign the tools now since you can use a microcontroller and some sensors to back off on the thing rather than building in more beefy components. Honestly, I'd rather have a mini corded impact and ratchet, but I'm afraid that there's no market call for that.

I would pick one of those hammer drills up but I have a m18 fuel version and my dad just upgraded to the fuel m12 set so I inherited his brushed m12 drill. Can’t really justify it when there isn’t anything wrong with the one I got.

I am thinking about getting the M12 jig saw with 4.0 battery and m12 bandsaw with 4.0 battery. Good price and worth getting?

I found both lacking power. The jigsaw has terrible line of sight and underpowered depending what your cutting.

The Band Saw they run promos for the kit and free battery for $200 all the time. Not sure when the last one was going on. The kit your just gaining the case, charger and 3.0XC battery unless its been updated since I bought mine.

I did sell both of those and upgraded to M18 Fuel D Handle and M18 Regular Band Saw both just got the Fuel Band Saw as well from Acme few weeks ago.

Really depends what your using them for. They have a place in the tool bag just not mine.

The jig saw is a pretty basic saw. The only really nice feature is the blade change. Other than that it’s meh. Power is ok if your just cutting wood or thin metal. Similar to a cheap Walmart unit. The biggest flaw is dust control. It tends to build up around the blade, so I’m constantly having to blow it out to see my line. It’s not a bad buy with the free battery, since your paying about $60 for the saw. I wouldn’t pay full price for it though. It comes down to how bad you need a cheap cordless saw. If your ok with a cord then go corded, if you need a really powerful cordless then look elsewhere.

Ok. Thanks. I have a couple of corded jig saws that I like. I also have a Ryobi 18v jig saw that, well it is a jig saw but not overly powerful. I guess I will pass on the m12 jig saw. I don't really need the band saw, really no specific use for it. I was just thinking that is a nice price and it would be nice to have one.

I need some heads for my oscillating multitool, is the kit on sale a good deal?

I personally wouldn’t spend that much on those. None of the teeth are treated in anyway. They are gonna wear out very quickly. I personally would take that same money and buy some quality Bosch blades. They have awesome wood ones and also can get carbide teeth blades for metal. Last a long time. The only blade I buy. If you have a Menards local they have a good selection of them.

Anyone know who makes Milwaukee’s sockets for them? Looks like a nice set on sale at HD.
