**** is way too mild.

Though I have had good luck getting them to “make” the promos and pice match online. As long as they have the items in stock they have given me the free battery (actually instead of the battery they have given me the starter kit!).

I find Acme has a huge attitude problem and they think their **** doesn’t stink, and hate dealing with them, but you have to deal with the devil sometimes.

Would guess the Fargo store won't have it, they **** for Milwaukee stock in my opinion. They have quite a bit of competition around town, so they don't stock is my guess.

Update on Fargo...

Went there this morning and asked about the M12 rocket promo at $149 with 6Ah battery. The guy says...None in store...online is the only way...BUT here is a M12 Rocket and here is a 6Ah batttery. The girls at the cash know what to do... and he was correct!

I wanked to the cash and they rang it in at $149 and $99 and it did the usual ... hmmm

Then the price came to $149 plus tax.

Unfortunately there was no manager to override the cash to give me my 10%, which they were bending over to do it, but they needed a higher manager to stack the military discount (actualy just a straight 10% off).

That’s usually the way it works in store. They’re usually only under one sku online. That’s how buying in store let’s you return one of the items for a partial refund to just get the thing you want at a discount.

they did it wrong, or rather complicated it as they didn't need a manager. they need to just take 10% off the base item, the $149. The reason they need a manager, is they are over-riding the promo which makes the items full price, then taking a markdown from $250 to $135. Any mark down over $50 needs a manager. So as long as it is under $500, like if you bought the Packout rolling kit that just got marked down to $450 (from $550, they could take $45 no problem, plus you will get the 'free' tool to further bring down the kit, or actually keep.

M12 3.0 compact 2-pack just got marked down to $80, was $90 last week. Couldn't find any near me though. If they get to $70, that's the cost of one by iteself.

Hey fellas, if I buy the milwaukee starter kit with free tool can I really return parts of the kit that I don't want, like the charger or a battery?

No. In fact, if one tool fails and you have to return, not exchange, it you might have to return the entire kit. Some of this depends on whether you purchase the kit at the store, or if you purchase it online and had it delivered to the store or your house. Buying a tool from Home Depot is not the same and ordering it online and having it shipped there. The store, as far as I know, doesn’t get credit for the sale and the item isn’t “their” inventory so it limits their options to help you

Still can get free attachment at HD online, at least if you catch them in stock.

You can return entire products skus for a pro-rated amount in store. If you have your deal in store you can return the whole starter kit.
You can not return the drill out of a drill & mpact kit, or any other part.

Any deals on M12 polisher/buffer? Couldn’t put myself through the agony of getting a Dremel Versa so ive decided on this with a roloc adapter would be much more efficient

Yes, buy in store and the bottom of your receipt will “Max refund value “. This is how much you will be credited or cash [emoji383] you will receive back. Just like any other return at HD with your receipt.

Just a heads up, the $159 fuel grinder with paddle switch shows up on the cpo 2 5.0 xc battery deal but is not picked up by the promo. I ended up calling them and they are supposed to be shipping the batteries along with the other things I ordered.

This is a good deal. I almost bought it last night. Just don’t use the stapler enough to justify.

I grabbed the roving light kit for $129. Instead of a charger, which I have more than I need already, and a bag, which I really have more than I need, I get the portable charger/USB unit and the 3AH battery. Probably not a good a deal as the $99, but I want to try that portable charger

What is this battery deal, I wasn't able to find any (2) 5.0XC battery deals on CPO?

Several bare tools are on included.

Here is the metal cutting circ saw I bought

You get a 2 pack of the xc 5.0 batteries or a 9.0 and charger. It also comes with a contractor bag.

I don't think its an exceptional deal but I have been looking for an excuse to grab that saw and a fuel grinder.

I think you can stack the 10% on top but I didn't see it until after I ordered.

I thought that would be the case for me. $50 for the stapler is a steal though. And after one job where you know you be cursing putting a whole box of staples in, you will say it is worth it. I may not pick mine up for another year, but it was so worth buying for that one project.

Yup I bought mine during a previous free battery promotion and thought man I have a million uses for it but in reality I have only used it about 3 times for less than a box of staples total but even that little use has made it a worth while investment for me after having spent years and many tens of thousands of staples through a manual stapler doing furniture repair in a past life. So for now mine is back to happily hanging around in its home until another use comes along.

For me the stapler would get most of its use at the range stapling targets onto cardboard, probably overkill for that use as I’m doing probably 20 staples per session. On the good side there would be some jealous looks from the other shooters.

That’s pretty funny.

So, looking at the M18 battery kit and the sawzall for $299. Total cost of everything is $500 before discount, the sawzall is $199 of that, is the sawzall going to net out at $80 when I return the battery kit? 199/(299+199) equals $80, is that correct?

No.

Think of it as buying a 500 kit for 300
That is 40% off (200/500)
Or you are paying 60% of msrp
So
200*.6 = 120

I believe the math would be 199*(299/500), which makes the sawzall $119 net
