What price are you seeing for that? I swear when I originally opened the link it was listed at like $116, but now it's reporting $169.

Same here. I might go down to the store and see if they'll honor the 116 price. If not I'll go to the 18v.

Shows at $116.18 for me as well. I have that driver that I bought a year ago with the hammer drill, charger, 2.0 and 4.0 batteries for $169 at HD. They have become my go to for %99 of my use at home and in the garage. They sure beat holding an 18v tool for long periods of time and the driver is every bit as effective for my use case as my 18v driver. For $116 I'd buy another one if I had a use for two.

Wow this HD shiiit is getting thick...I still see it for $116. Again shopping my VT store zip 05201

Now following some of the posts before these it seems to be mostly all about store location.

All you can do is search under different store locations put in a different zip

I'm wondering what's a better deal. This or the same combo you're talking about that I already ordered with an extra free 2 Ah battery (2 x 2Ah, 1 x 4Ah) for $179. People seem to complain about the hammer drill, but I would like a cordless drill.

Honestly I have not used the hammer function of the drill and probably never will but as a regular drill I have zero complaints so far. No its not going to power through using a big hole saw or paddle bit but for all the smaller jobs its really nice having something so lightweight and compact. I drill a LOT of pilot holes with mine building cabinetry and its perfect for it.

Well seems to me if you want or need a cordless drill then the 2 pc combo is your better option. Considering the price difference of about $60...

#1 you are gaining an extra power tool, the brushless FUEL hammer drill which if you source as bare tool alone is maybe around $75

#2 you are also getting increased battery capacity with one the 2.0 being replaced with a 4.0XC so consider maybe worth another $25 in value.

So ya I think you come out ahead if it meets your needs

Otherwise the savings is worth getting the impact only kit if that's all you need. Those M12 Fuel impact drivers work just fine with 2.0 compacts. But the drill runtime will benefit from the larger XC battery

Ya ya hammerdrill well look at it as a bonus option...yup most people will never much use the hammer function or at best maybe drill some 1/4" holes for screw or nail inserts to attach a small shelf bracket or maybe some conduit clamps to a block wall :wtf:

I did buy the M12 FUEL drill as single purchase maybe 3-4 years ago. It was a special...buy bare tool and 2.0 battery and was like $120 back then. Your getting a decent deal either way you look at it

No warranty. I got it at a swap meet 3 years ago and never registered it. I definitely got my monies worth out of it.
That deal is great I'll probably jump on it if I don't upgrade to the m18. Thanks for the heads up !

You don’t have to register Milwaukee tools for their warranty. Check the S/N and see if it’s older then the 5 yr warranty.

Have you guys saw a deal on the inflator, preferably with a battery? I have been watching, but haven't seen anything.

It's $79 almost everywhere bare tool. I picked it up in Oct at HD with a free 2.0 battery for $99.

Acme has it with a 2.0 battery, plus the power source for $109. The power source alone is around $40, plus the battery is about the same. If you have any heated gear these are nice because it tells you the battery level.

I got mine from Acme or CPO for $99 with a 2.0 battery, USB cord and the M12 Power Source/charger

I believe HD has it for $109 as well

Home depot had the same deal on Black Friday (109 for inflator with cp2.0 battery, power pack/charger, usb cable).

Also, the power pack does do fast charging on my galaxy phone (tested with a 1.5 and 2.0 battery).

My local HD sold all, but perhaps you could get lucky.

If you plan on getting heated gear, and don't need the USB charger, I believe summit racing still has the kit with a 4ah for $99, maybe $109. I have a charger from two heated pieces of gear, so the USB charger isn't as desireable to me. If it had USB-C that's another story.

Thanks guys. I went to my Home Depot last week trying to get that deal and they were out. I didn't see it at ACME, so thanks for letting me know. I just ordered it. I have had one for a while and it really comes in handy, this one is for Dad for Christmas.

Think i am done ordering from Acme tools for my tools. I ordered some milwaukee items on their black friday special, and still hasnt even shipped. I understand some retailers get super slammed, but this is an excessive delay.

Other than HD anyone have a solid tool site?

Been a lot of chatter lately about the Milwaukee OMT tools in different threads most recently the M12 one was discussed. Bare tool usually lists for $79 by itself so with a 2462 impact driver, compact battery(1) and charger for $20 more is a pretty good deal IMO.

Though Home Depot looks to have offered that combo for $20-30 less in the past the before sale price is now bumped up to $189 @ HD. Did some searching around the web they seem to be the only one with that $99 deal right now

Anyone got a link to the $116 M12 SDS drill... I searched 20+ cities w/no luck.

Thanks

I personally don't recall any SDS drill for $116 over the past week or more.

A -22 (2 battery) M12 FUEL Impact driver was recently listed for $116

There a link for a -21XC M12 SDS FUEL drill kit one 4.0AH battery for $149 that is still active to the best of my knowledge. I purchased one of those on Saturday and it got just to me delivered tonight :D
