Think i am done ordering from Acme tools for my tools. I ordered some milwaukee items on their black friday special, and still hasnt even shipped. I understand some retailers get super slammed, but this is an excessive delay.

That sounds familiar; different vendor tho; I ordered the Milwa DC charger from ToolNut on 11/26 and it still hasn't arrived as of Dec 12 ... that's 17 days and still counting. The items ordered from Amazon, with the slow non-prime free shipping option, arrived in 5 days.

Just sayin.'

My experience w/ CPO has been just as bad. Except in my case they sold it on ebay. It was supposed to be a new screw jack but it was missing parts and clearly used. I returned it and asked for a replacement but got an email that it wasn't in stock and I could wait for it to come back but at FULL RETAIL! Needless to say I don't shop w/ them anymore. After the debacle months later I get this:

Thank you for your inquiry, the item you've been waiting for is now back in stock. But hurry, we only have a limited amount in stock and this email isn't a guarantee you'll get one.

Most people that use the fastbacks seem to think they are a pretty decent utility blade knife.

I don't follow most of the accessory stuff so I have no clue about pricing on these things

Can anybody say this any kind of a deal?

2 for $25 plus 50 free blades :headscrat

https://www.toolbarn.com/milwaukee-...83&l=1140_HTML&u=5739907&mid=100029924&jb=220

Says Free Shipping so that's a plus

There's always a few incidental items to buy :D

It's meh ok. That little plastic one on the bottom is ~$8-9 and the bigger one maybe $10-15, depending upon season.

Buying them individually in the off-season from the standard hand tool aisle you'll get raped, so promo packages like this are better.

I don't assign much value to the blades 'cause I'm swimming in them.

If you're willing to EDC a utility knife, the smaller plastic one is better 'cause it's shorter and lighter. My gf actually EDC's one 'cause it works better for the inexplicably shallow front pockets in women's pants

Any links for $19.99?

Edit: found it at ACME the $19.99 price both utility razor knives AND the blade offer no free shipping so $26.48 before tax.

Tool Barn was $25.99 before tax but free shipping

So it's pretty much a wash :spit:

HD only seems to have the 2 pk of knives (no free 50pk blade offer) for the $19.99 that I can see :dunno:

Milwaukee 21 Piece Hole Dozer Hole Saw Set - $69

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...al-Hole-Saw-Set-21-Piece-49-22-4171/310259636

This is the lowest I have seen this bigger set at. Previous low I've seen was $89. Normally $129 on sale and $169 not on sale.

For comparisons sake, the usual Milwaukee Black Friday Hole Saw Set deal (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...al-Hole-Saw-Set-17-Piece-49-22-4029/305073694) has 9 hole saws up to 2 1/2" for $39.

This $69 set has 13 hole saws, however it includes a 3", 3-5/8", 4-1/4", 4-1/2", and a 5" that the smaller set doesn't have. Those five sizes bought individually cost 3" [$15], 3-5/8" [$19], 4-1/4" [$29], 4-1/2" [$36], 5" [$39]. Which is a total of $138.

Thanks I appreciate that.

Sadly its says unavailable at my nearest store :(

And free delivery with an online order is $45min with HD...guess I'm SOL there

Maybe it'll work out for someone else though

They won't ship to your store for free?

edit: confirmed, I was able to mock up a cart and have it shipped to my store at no charge.

I just started following this thread. What is the rebate match?

https://www.homedepotrebates11percent.com/#/home

I believe it only works if you have a Menards nearby. Can check you location here
https://www.homedepotrebates11percent.com/media/uploads/1553695713243.pdf.

But when Menards has a weekly 11% rebate Home Depot matches. Just go to the website and fill out the info. I like it better through Home Depot it's fast to fill out. Menards half the time I forget to fill out and mail the rebate in time. Only for instore purchases though.

I do appreciate the effort

See that thing for me is distance to an HD store. I find no savings driving up to a 60mi round trip and/or using up two hrs or more of my time for a $5.00 difference than just letting ToolBarn ship it to me

Edit:
After seeing the current Hole Saw offers just posted I may get a free ship to home out of this yet :D

Keeping in mind that HD ties your order to a turtle with a busted leg to ship your item to your store. I'm seeing 9 day transit times in the ultra-connected, warehouse-dense, semi-truck-choked-freeways of the greater Los Angeles area.

For history buffs, that's the same amount of time it took the Pony Express to move a letter from Missouri to California in the 1860s.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately no Menards in NY.

The funny thing is the last time I did it my order and my order alone came in a box via UPS to my store - I watched her open it right in front of me.

But yeah, it was not fast. They must have sat on the order for several days before even sending it out... presumably hoping to consolidate others into that UPS shipment

I bought 9 of the $39 kits. That's a great value. My supply house cost is $8 for a 7/8 hole saw and $4 per pilot bit alone.

HD generally surprised me with my purchase deliveries during the Black Friday/Green Monday period. A Sat order was here by Tuesday, and a Sun order was here by Wed. :D

In the past it had gotten to the point to be over full week delivery time though it was the trucking co (UPS) that had the package mostly. Lately its been FED EX

There are various reasons I often take my business elsewhere than HD but some times no one else beats their deal price.

Where can you check the order status online? I can't seem to find the link...

Also, for those that missed out, you can get the stubby and M12 starter kit (2.0 and 4.0) for $187, or just get the stubby for $152. Not too shabby...

Ya I'm into that. I also have to find out the current status of my ToolUp order. The thing being they weren't actually available during the special sale as it was. I'm curious why they just cancelled that order seen in the other post about these

That's remarkable. Where I live, 2 hours distant from that giant orifice (the ports of San Pedro) that receives the products from our Chinese overlords, and distributes them across the nation by rail and semi, I've not ever received any order from HD in less than a week and a half.

Whoa dude that really *****

Just checked my email but don't see any correspondences from Toolup about any cancellation as of now

I just called them on mine and they said that 3/8" stubbys are backordered but are expecting a shipment next week and will be filling my order along with the other things on the order.

They said they would have shipped the other items but due to me using paypal they have to fufill the entire order together.
Fingers crossed i actually get it but maybe using paypal saved some confusion.

CPO Outlets has 15% off Milwaukee today. The deal stacks with the 50% off deal for the M12 battery kit with bare tool purchase. The 15% applies to the bare tool only. They have a fair amount of tools eligible, really good deal if you are looking for the M12 stubby impacts.

Example deal is the M12 inflator with the battery kit 1x 2.0 and 1x4.0 battery with M12 charger/carrying bag for 102.14.

I added the extended Fuel ratchet, and it took the 15% off the kit. Im sure this is on the exclusions list, so not everything qualifies.

What's a good price for the 3/8" Stubby? It looks like a few posts back someone order one for $116, although it was cancelled.
