I know this is not the Milwaukee Mega Thread but since we're talking about inflators, who predicts a M18....

I have the 2 of the inflators already in each of the cars. Have been thinking about a 3rd one....

Acme Tools currently advertising "up to 20% off select M12s" (if you buy two tools)

Edit: Tool Barn making the same offer...I wonder if this is a Milwaukee promotion, seems to be appearing multiple places. Also a promo on M18, starts with 10% off once you get to $300 of tools...

Ya it's a Milwaukee "Spring Promotion" good until the end of March I think

I'm just starting to look into expanding my M12 collection, are the HD deals on some of the M12 products, either free tool or additional battery, something they run often?

I just don't need any of the "free" tools offered in the current promotions.

Out of stock online and ship to store.

A 6.0 and 3.0 for $99 seems like a decent deal. I picked this pair up last week.

Looks like it didn't last very long - it was up shortly after I got my order in last night. I agree the 6.0+3.0 for $99 is a good deal, but I needed more of the small batteries and two 3.0s for $28 each was too good to pass up.

The stuff they have now isn't anything special. You can do well on ebay from grey market sellers, no waiting for a deal, just buy the thing you want with no extras to mess with. Unless a home depot deal is called out here as being especially "hot" which is only a few times a year, ebay is usually going to get you a price that prevents any regret.

personally I don't bite on m18 batteries above $10/Ah (so, $90 for 6.0 + 3.0) but the new cp 3.0 is a unique battery right now in terms of current:weight so I guess it's worth some premium

Do you find the advertised-as-new batteries on eBay are of recent manufacture? I've seen some advice on this thread saying it's smart to buy batteries from an authorized dealer that turns over stock rapidly, such as HD...plus, the warrantee runs from the date purchased, not date mfgd...

ask the seller before buying. most stuff is being flipped from recent promos and is fairly new, but might not be

in the case of that linked auction, it includes an ho cp 3.0 which was first available less than a year ago

Where is the date code on these batteries?

see this milwaukee document http://documents.milwaukeetool.com/TIY527.pdf

older batteries have it stamped into the plastic on the top. I have one that's "130506P" which is year 2013, month 5, day 6

newer batteries have it on the sticker on the bottom, top row, second from the right. I have one that says "170311". this also decodes as year/month/day

they have other codes as well, the document goes through them. I think anything newer than 2017 or so will have the year/month/day on the sticker

Lots of variation. On my 3Ah HOs, there is an "engraved" line of characters above the label. The second to last grouping of characters reads 190328, ie, end of March 2019. z0r's document will help.

Do you have any trusted sellers to recommend?

I don't usually start with a certain seller, I just search for the thing then sort by price and get the least expensive one with a seller that looks "ok". You want 99%+ positive feedback, ideally someone who lists a lot of things (an actual small or medium sized business), and then examine any negative feedback for problems. And make sure the thing is new, new without box, or otherwise basically a new tool from a kit split or whatever. I also have a bit of a gut feeling I apply after buying hundreds of things on ebay and getting screwed a couple times. If you are interested in a specific tool I can do a search for you and give you my notes on the listings I find so you can see my process.

here are the last two sellers I've bought from:

reddingfasteners
sandiegotoolsforless

also regular old zoro and cpo outlets, back when ebay did 15% coupons. I don't think these guys go under msrp though

M12 screwdriver for $30. Listed as used, described as new in non retail packaging. There are 19 left as of now. I ordered one and it seems to just be someone parting out kits. The collet design seems to have changed, on my old one it's about 3/4" diameter, the new one is just shy of an inch.

Not a bad price, but damn the reviews for that seller are all over the place

I have the old screwdriver and the updated one. I like the 2 speed setting on it, makes for a really nice tool. I use it a lot when setting cabinets for taking off doors and hinges. I think you guys will like it.

I have NOT been following this thread or the HD clearance thread so this is almost surely a repost in one or both threads...
....the USB batt + charger finally dropped to a significant clearance level at $9.83. I'm guessing the new charger which can also function as a power source (which is how they all shoulda been from day 1) is pushing it out. I'm also not sure smaller stores are going to stock the USB stuff full-time.

Anyway I've been using the hell outta my USB stuff (mostly for lights in auto repair) and for sub-$10 it's worth it for the batt alone. Pics say the rest

Nice find, never seen those in stores. There is a new charger coming out that's a USB power source and charger so these should be dropping where ever they are sold.

I found a mark down on the USB pivoting clip light down to $53 at HD, not hot yet but maybe something to watch.

Also HD has $10 off new lower price on the Packout totes in-store...no freebies like the online special buys though.

I was just going to post, HD has a 2 pack of 2767 M18 impact guns for $350 + tax for the next few hours I think. That's pretty good. Now to find someone around central NJ that wants to split one with me!

Is the QUIK-Lok string trimmer for $175 a good deal?

What about the trimmer + blower for $340?

I'm looking to get into the Milwaukee OPE. All I really want is the trimmer, edger attachment and the blower.
I love my blower... I bought the quick lok setup as well... .
