the vac has gone for 75-85 during previous buy-and-return deals. so I guess that makes the battery 29-39. But the vac hasn't been available at that kind of price for a while. I think that's fine but not super great, the XC 3.0 is a weird one, same size/weight you can get an XC 5.0, or in a smaller package you can get the new HO CP 3.0. So I don't think it's a desirable battery given the other options. But if you wanted the vac, and need another battery but don't need the new HO battery type, it's fine

The M18 Fuel Grinder 2780-20 has been bouncing around the $120 range on Amazon recently. At the moment I'm posting it's back up to the $130s but according to the camels it looks like it may be on a downward price trend. The camels say it gets down to $110 sometimes, but only briefly, and I've never seen it that low. What with tarriffs and Wuhan Flu (Fluhan?), who knows when we'll see it at that price again.

CPO outlets has 15% off one item. I used it to finally buy the 2582-22 M12 kit that has the Surge impact as well as the fuel hammer drill in it with 2 batteries. Promo also came with 2 extra M12 2.0 batteries which I don't really need. 15% off still applied to the kit which usually doesn't happen when there is the free battery promo. I did get hit with tax though so I think I'm now out of online retailers which won't collect taxes.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Especially since I’m not using it everyday.
I have bought both and mostly had good luck with refurb. But the last refurb died just after the 1 year. It was not really that much cheaper so I decided after that to pay more for the 5 year warranty. I do look and wait for sales and never pay full price.

FYI, I just got an email they (NorthernTool) cancelled the Impact + Battery deal, so I cancelled the entire order. Bummer as it was a great deal. Seems the website has also been updated.
