I was looking at the sale on the m12 Hackzall with the 2 free 1.5 batteries. The product overview lists as:

-Includes 2520-20 M12 FUEL HACKZALL reciprocating saw, multi-material blade, 48-59-2401 M12 lithium-ion battery charger, 48-11-2440 M12 REDLITHIUM XC 4.0 Ah battery and contractor bag, with 2 free M12 2.0 Ah batteries

I doubt it. I think the reference to "2 free m12 2.0 Ah batteries" is an accidental leftover from a different promo.

If you look in the product specifications it states:

Number of Batteries Included: 3

The photos also show 3 batteries.

Not sure on your use-cases, but I personally have zero interest in filling my toolbox with 1.5s when higher capacity batteries (CP2.0 and CP3.0) exist which are the same size.

Nothing great right now. Home depot had a 3.0 and I think an 8,0 with a free sawzall blade for like 120 or something.

Thanks. I saw a pair of 3.0 with sawzall blade for $104, that might work for me.

I have a new pair of 6.0 batteries and a new 8.0 battery, but the mailing restrictions are strict for batteries these days. The 6.0 pair is over 5 pounds, so I don't think I can mail it USPS. The 8.0 should be able to go ground.

Had my eye on this impact for a few months. Didn’t need the battery and was able to sell in an hour on FB Marketplace for $60

It wouldn’t surprise me if your order gets cancelled because of the coupon code. They canceled mine for an impact with free battery recently because I used a coupon.

I ordered a light with a code, came without a battery. I called and the lady pretty much said tough luck. I'll return it at my own cost for shipping based on her attitude.

So far it has not been canceled. A friend of mine ordered within 15 minutes of me and his was canceled. I will update with results.
Had it out with a different vendor over a 3/8 impact kit posted here sometime back; however I have not yet had an issue with Northern.

home depot has buy a tool get a free battery right now. if you add the battery and tool separate the price is sometimes lower than they are advertising for the tool and battery together. doing it this way also makes the tool and battery separate items so you can return one.
