Just a friendly reminder, this is the deal thread. Of course talk about deals, but there are tool thread that often already cover this.

But for the grease gun, it is really a hard call. 90% will be fine with m12, as it is in between the M18 settings as far as pressure is concerned. So like most that don't grade regularly enough, the m12 will definitely make things more enjoyable and not make greasing a 2 man job (without locking fittings etc).
Now, if you are doing larger equipment or maybe older farm implements, you want the m18. Need the low speed for higher pressure on plugged fittings, and high speed for those large fills. And on large equipment, it often gives you the pump amount in the manual, which you can set on the m18.

If this is for homeowner, you will be fine with m12. If you are Tim Taylor home owner or have have large equipment, grab the m18

Thanx, sounds like I should look for a deal on the m12 version =-)

https://targoto.com/product/milwaukee-m12-grease-gun-bare-tool/ Not sure if this site is legit, but its 90 bucks, I wonder if I can go to HD and have them price match?

That website looks sketchy as can be. I've never heard of them and I doubt it is legit. Then again, I suppose with paypal you have some buyers protection.

Well i was going to show HD the website and see if I could have them price match. That way I could have it now, and a place to warranty if need be. Not sure if they will price match if its a scams site though.

M12 Cut-off tool kit for $129 today from Zoro. Just under $140 with tax shipped. About $10 cheaper than I've ever seen it. Not a bad deal considering the 4.0 battery goes for more than half that price itself.

Do you have a link for this? I'm seeing a lot higher prices for this when I search. Disregard, found it trying a different search, thanks!!

milwaukee batteries have their cells directly wired to two of the battery terminals so you can use an alternative charger if you want by hooking to them. I think it's the two outside pins, 1 and be 5. never happened to me but I would use either a lab power supply with some low current limit, or a charger like the RC hobby "b6" style and set it to 5s lion and a low rate

btw the "milwaukee obsession" thread is better for questions like these

I'd first try calling Milwaukee and explain your situation. I think there is better than even odds that they would take care of you.

Actually I am neither I didnt scam them nor am I lying about it. I typed in m12 grease gun shopping on google and I just swiped till I found one cheaper than HD. He typed it into his computer to make sure and then rang me up. I see no problem in this. If you do thats on you guys.

Wrong. You asked about it here and everyone said it's a scam.
You then intentionally went to HD and scammed them.

They accepted the price match, nobody forced them to. Definitely not the same as stealing unless we're being overly dramatic here.

Retailers tend to have criteria for price matching, YMMV depending on the employee.

He knew the price was fake and did it anyway. Nobody is being overly dramatic.

Actually it was from a different site, whether it was fake or not he didnt have to accept it which is why he checked with his computer before saying it was ok. So yes your being dramatic, its not like i cut the lock and and stuffed it into a cheaper tool box or ran out the door with it. If the price was too low then he would have said no sorry.

I looked back, I had them match a place last fall, be and the m12 grease for a similar price. It's definitely with reason.

So if you use a counterfeit bill or short change the cashier its ok because they fell for it?
Its a bs scam and nobody should be doing it.

You must be trolling or a manager from a rival hardware store that cant compete with that price. I've never seen such a hysterical response over a Home Depot manager giving a customer a discount.

Ahh, so scamming a store is fine with you guys. Got it.

you are the only one saying it's a scam. with all the things to worry about in the world, you are getting hysterical about HD profiting $30 on a grease gun instead of $70. if it really bothers you maybe you should complain to the manager

How is it not a scam? Using a fake price from a fake website for a price match is ok just because the cashier doesn't know the difference?

I can assure you I'm not hysterical at all, not sure where that is coming from.

My point was half the country was just burned down over a guy trying to pass a counterfeit bill. You might want to pick another analogy... Keep a fire extinguisher handy...

The people burning the country are not doing it for George. Thanks for the warning though.
