They sold out in under 2 hours. I was gonna jump on but it was gone before midnight. I think they only had like 5 of them.

$249 isn’t a bad deal at all. The 9.0 batteries don’t do to bad in the saw. They did get hotter then my 12’s but still got the job done. You will love that saw. Defiantly legit.

Decided to return the chainsaw.

HD has a online kit (2727-21HDP)with saw, 12.0 battery, fast charger and M18 leaf blower, $449. Ordered that instead, if kids don't need the leaf blower I can always sell it since we already have one.

Anyone see the M12 Rocket light kit with two 4.0 batteries for $179 at home depot? If you can buy local in store some return the batteries if they aren't needed and you end up with the light for about $100.

I was just going to post the same deal. The inflator is $46. But I think I might see what the 3/8 ratchet would be after returning the batteries. Anyone know the price?

You have to add the 4.0ah starter kit and light to the cart separately. There is an all in on combo you cant return the batteries on there too, so be careful. Light comes out to under $90. I couldn't turn it down.

thanks for the heads up. I passed on the m18 rocket for $150 in last quarter's battery combos but for $87 I got this one. it's a really handy size, I think I'll get more use out of it than I would have with the m18

You may want to check in store at Home Depot. It's says $169 online but is marked down to $99 at my local store.
My HD showed 0 hedge trimmers in stock online. Saw one up high on the shelves, brought it down and it rung up at $99!

Always look up!

I was close to buying the milwaukee 12v tower light kit promo for $87 after battery return... But more I think and played with it..I see that it really wasn't that stable or balanced well on the ground and prone to getting knock over and seems its all plastic housing will break the led light... I passed...sticking with my cheap 3000 lumen tripod corded and its stable.

I bought it online and sold the battery kit for $125. Even better than returning it.

as usual a good strategy is the order the tool for store pickup and the battery kit ship to home. this usually requires selecting a store that's out of stock of the battery kit. then cancel the battery kit within 5 (or 15?) minutes and it erases that part of the order, no return needed, and you can pick up your bare tool at the discounted price

New concrete driveway so needed a better way to clear off grass clippings, light dusting of snow etc.

In Canada the 2724-20 is roughly $198. Found one at Granger Canada for $149, got HD to price match for $135.10 plus taxes. That is under $100 US, not a bad deal and beats the best price by $14.

Too bad the ratchet in the batt kit / free tool M12 is only the 3/8.

Agreed. If it was the 1/4 I would be all over something. As it is I am thinking of getting a 3/8 and swapping over to 1/4 with the eBay kit. I am scared though because once upon a time I disassembled the 3/8 to clean and couldn’t get the snap ring to properly seat and eventually had to take it into the local warranty center. They gave me a new ratchet even though I came clean to screwing it up.

Is the M12 sequential charger for $59 worth grabbing?

Also how good/bad is the inflator? I keep killing the "cheap" cigarette plug in ones.

+1 on the inflator. Just buy it.

I use mine on every tire we have from vehicles, wagons, dollies and bikes. Could stand to have a quick connect fitting but I have been too lazy to put one on.

You preset the pressure then hit the button and it goes till it quits at the pressure you set.

I had one for about 3 years before it died. I looked at the reviews and that was unfortunately a common experience among other owners. Worked great while it worked though.

Have a inflator and was going jump on buying another one for the other car to have in the trunk.....decided to wait to see what M18 might come out. I have like 5-7X more in M18 batteries than my M12 easily..

You could always run the inflator off the car battery, it is 12v. I'm sure someone out there sells that adapter. If not, give it 10 days since I posted the idea on internet and I'm someone will.

There was a reviewer that made one by taking apart a small m12 battery and adding the cord directly to the terminals.

I wish I had picked one up sooner. Grabbed one in this current run of deals and have used it twice already and am in love. So nice to just set the psi and walk away to work on other tasks or go get the one tool I inevitably forgot in the garage...

It's also quiet enough that it's not annoying, but loud enough to know when it's time to switch it to the next tire. :bounce:

It's a great little compressor , but this is not a habit I would get accustomed to. I've had to manually shut mine down because it was not stopping. This has happened multiple times to me especially on low pressure tires.

Yeah, you can even do it online this round.
How would one go about doing that with the M18 stuff?
Buy a free battery combo and return to store? Separately adding the items doesn't add the discount. I thought buying the free bat combo with included discount online kept battery return from working.
