Not that it helps now but it just was a deal of the day on home depot so it probably will be there again.

Was eyeing this the last time around. Found it hard to justify as the light output sounded less than many of my 18650 flashlights. For the size and weight it didn’t seem like a great package/value IMHO. Think for the money I would go with one of those 10,000 lumen Thrunite flashlights for a real searchlight.

I was going to respond with a link to the Ryobi 18v searchlight (with cigarette adapter). It's 5,000 lumens and spanks the Milwaukee. I was so hoping the Milwaukee was going to beat, but no chance.

Milwaukee's light is designed very very well. I love being able to standnup, and angle beam. Close up flood is great, but for field searching, it's close to worthless.

Hopefully a v2 version comes out addressing the lumen output deficiency. For $50 on clearance it might be worth it.

Based on what you described above in that the searchlight makes a good flood light is why I am glad I went with the Rover. Looks like they dropped the price to $100 which seems priced about right.

The M12 Surge with batteries and charger can be had for $115 plus tax as part of a combo deal with returning a 3/8” ratchet at Home Depot.

Would I be losing much by getting the M18 Brushless circular saw 7 1/4 with a free battery for $179 vs the Fuel 7 1/4 bare tool for $249? Really only need it for small projects so not sure if the Fuel is worth the extra money in this case

I haven’t used the brushless, but I used the Fuel on a project Saturday and it was awesome. I had to do some 36” rip cuts in some hard 2x12 boards, the Fuel saw didn’t hesitate.

I'm not a pro, but IMO the brushless works great. In fact I like it a little better since it's lighter. I own the fuel and it's great as well. I am helping a friend build his house and he owns the brushless. I would get whichever one has the better price.

10% off at Acme tool today, code REDTEN.

That portaband kit looks mighty tempting. Is that a screaming deal like last time?

No. Non-Fuel is a very capable saw, lighter, for less money.

Wonder why my M12 rotary tool sounds like a chicken getting stepped on?
I was only putting a light load on it and even made noise not under load?
Did it 3 times in a minute.

Edit: Maybe the bit was loose?Wore 4 wire cones out and didn’t do it again.

Saw that. I’ve got a 1/4” ratchet and god need more of those chargers like a hole in the head lol.

Thanks for pointing out though. [emoji106]

Is that doable with the online orders? Thought it was only the in-store combos? (sorry, been a while since Ive bought any Milwaukee stuff)

Anyone done the Ebate for the "Linear Edge" items? Ebates photos show Sawzall blades and hole saw blades, but doesnt specify if band saw blades or circular saw blades count, or if it has to be certain models of the Sawzall and hole saw blades

In store only, but there are Home Depot locations basically everywhere.

What should I be paying per AmpHour for my Milwaukee 18V batteries?

HD has "Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion XC Starter Kit with (1) 5.0Ah Battery and Charger" for $130... ? 130/5= $26 per Ah? The deal mentioned above for $99 (I see as $199), and that would be $28 per Ah? Do batteries sold by themselves (not part of a kit) ever get below $20/Ah?

I haven't seen any deals on the router with the plunge base anywhere. I looked for a while for a deal on the full kit but never saw one. I was able to grab the router for 20% off tool only a month or so ago on a 20% off sale from international tool but that promo went super fast.
