I haven't been keeping up with this stuff so double check me here...

This seems like a pretty good deal for Milwaukee's High torque impact wrench (# 2767-20) and a 5.0 battery...

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-FUEL-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-1-2-in-Impact-Wrench-with-Friction-Ring-with-Free-M18-5-0Ah-Battery-2767-20-48-11-1850/305907274

The tool alone seems to sit around $220 and best price I've found for 5.0 battery is ~$70 so $250 for both seems pretty reasonable?

While I'm at it, is the 2767-20 the latest and greatest High Torque 1/2 impact Milwaukee is making now? Any rumors of a new and improved model in the works? I ask because I have a bad habit of buying "last years" model or the current model right before a new one comes out :(

An entire new line of impacts is on its way from Milwaukee coming soon. There is nothing wrong with the current line up though. The new ones have a tad more torque and integrated LED lights on the nose to light up what you are about to whale on.

Do you happen to have a link? All I've seen is new compact and mid-torque models. Nothing about a new high torque model? Thanks

Now that I think about it I'm not sure if I've seen a new version of the high torque or not.

So back to my original question... Any better deals out there for a Milwaukee 2767-20 w/(1) 5.0 battery for $249 or tool alone for $219?

Thanks

Want to buy this also and have not seen any better prices so am interested in responses. Have two new batteries so don't really need another. What are the chances that a better price will drop somewhere on Black Friday?

Any hot deals on the M12 non-fuel oscillating multi tool? I need one this weekend for a project...I'm guessing Home Depot with the 11% rebate match is probably my best bet at this point.

In store today

So if my math is right, does this make the Fuel Saw $138.40 after returning battery?

Saw: $249
Battery: $199

Things that caught my eye were buy 2 pack of 6.0 ho m18 batts for 179, and get a free tool. Nice sized list of tool options

There is also buy certain m18 tools, get a 8.0 ho batt

And buy two m12 tools get a 2 pk 3.0 xc batt free

He just had a vid of some drug dealer that had a million dollars of stolen Milwaukee tools from HD.His house was stacked to the ceiling with new tools. Not a fan but was wild to see.

Starting to think hot deals means new tools on the way? Like somebody else mentioned not necessarily a bad deal.

New Q4 promotion includes the stubby. Return value of the 2.0 is about $47

Do they keep track if you make too many returns of the BoGo deals?

They track all returns and if you make too many returns, the wrong kind of returns, and/or some other combination of things, they will ban you from making any returns. The challenge is that no one knows exactly what the ban criteria are, so you can't really know if you are making too many returns until you get banned.

If you only do this once or twice, you are probably fine.

Thanks! I did the free item return once last year for BF, and I did one yesterday for the M12 ratchet that BoGo from the 4 in 1 installation tool.

They have a few deals this BF that Im wanting to do, so I may try my luck and see what happens. At that point, if I cant work on what I need to with what I have by then, Im SOL anyway :D

They can't ban you from making returns that are within your legal right to do so. There are laws about what stores are required to take back. This varies by state so I can't really speak to what that means but if you know your state's consumer protection laws at least a little bit you should be able to figure out how safe you are you do promo returns. As long as you have the receipt and you are within the legal required return limit in your state, you should be just fine.

The only reason I've heard of HD blocking people from doing returns is if they make too many returns without proof of purchase or too high of a dollar amount for a returns without receipts in a given time period. I have no idea what the dollar amount, returned item count or time period is but those are the only reasons I've seen posted about that I can remember.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've read that it's returns without a receipt. That's why they'll need an ID for no receipt returns. Otherwise they aren't tracking returns with receipts by individuals. If you paid cash for the promo, they have no idea who's returning it.

If one store wants to be PIA, just go to a different one.

With the Canada/US border effectively closed it is hard to get any of the HD BF deals.

I have been waiting for the M18 Fuel jigsaw ($249 in Canada for BARE tool), and the $199 two battery deal and the free jig saw is very attractive, but cant get it to my place in Canada. lol

It should work. I just placed the order online since HD never stocks the M12 Stubby 1/2" model. Once it comes in I will attempt to return the battery or I will gift it worse case.

I jumped on this one. I was already planning to get the M18 Router. This deal got me the router for $20 less and 2 free 6.0 XC batteries!

I just tried this with 1/2inch stubby, free battery... online since none instore stock on the 1/2inch stubby.. it checks out at $243 Plus tax....so not $179 deal...and I think you will run into problems to Return the battery and trying to match the $179 deal....

unless someone knows how to do it online for $179 and do the battery return trick deal...but looks like a hassle to me...

To do it online you have to be able to add the normal skus to the cart and get the deal to show up that way. And that usually won't work when they have the custom combo sku for the deal. If you try to return the combo sku in store you'll have to return the whole thing. You could try doing a no receipt return. Which I think leaves you with store credit, I have no idea what the return value for that would be though. If you decide to go that route you'll need a photo ID. And be warned that HD has limits on the number and value of items that can be returned that way. And at some point you'll be banned from doing any more no receipt returns.
