Wasnt it on sale last month for $99? Theres a bunch of blower + other things sale now.

Maybe 2 months back, but yes. And if you selected the right HD location, you got $100 off 3 of them, maybe that was a little farther back. In any case, I wouldn't value it more than $99.

I guess I’ll keep on looking then.

Looks like the old mid torque, I believe he's looking for the new one that just came out.

3/8-inch friction ring (Milwaukee 2960)
1/2-inch friction ring (Milwaukee 2962)
1/2-inch pin detent (Milwaukee 2962P)

Correct, I’m looking for a deal on the new model. Thanks

Do the M18 leaf blower’s ever go on sale anymore?

It's one of the "free tool" options on the HD sales right now. Buy the battery pack for $200, get the blower for free, return the battery pack... end up with the blower for about $90.

Battery starter kit $199 --> $110.62

Blower $159 --> $88.38

I'd say the backpack vac with the 8.0 is a decent deal as well as the grease gun kit. The rest are kinda so/so. I want the backpack vac but really have no use for it. I just really like the idea of it but in actuality I have no practical use for it since my house is so small.

I like the 2 gallon wet/dry vac a lot, it’s pretty handy as a Dustbuster and for small projects. Way easier to get out for small stuff compared to my 14 gallon ridgid corded.

Yep, I've got one and use it all the time for around the house clean up. The little guy is GREAT for small jobs and projects.

I agree, I actually paid full retail of $299 shortly after it came out because I really needed it for a specific application and it was just too new to be eligible for any deals or promos for awhile. So, while I say I "never" pay full retail for Milwaukee stuff that's not always true.

Otherwise online right now you can get the 2131 tower light and an 8.0 for $199. It's inexplicably $229 in stores, but that way you can pro-rate. If you truly WANT the light and the batt, it's a solid deal. This deal has probably been mentioned earlier in the thread - apologies if so, I haven't been tracking the thread closely (obviously)

In comparing the packout vac to the backpack, I love the size of the packout and it's -almost- as powerful as the backpack. Regardless, this packout will get used ALOT more due to it's formfactor.....

Thanks for that. I just picked up both in the last week unexpectedly. Got the PO vac for $160, and the Backpack for $150.

I really don't have a use for the backpack style, and if it isn't that much more powerful, it probably will get sold away (help pay for the PO one). Would probably add casters to the backpack as others have done if I do keep it.

Looks like Ohio Power Tools BF deal is the 1/4" socket set for $60

Where did you get the Backpack for $150? Or was it used? We just ordered the backpack with the free battery for $269. I think that’s the cheapest I have ever seen.

Local pallet reseller, but box was pristine, and nothing had ever been removed. On top of that, he wants the M12 Fuel kit which I have a stack of. So I'll get my $150 back :rocker:

Been wondering the same thing. I even asked the Milwaukee rep at HD and he had no answer.

New M12 FUEL Oscillating Multitool + 2.0 Battery at Home Depot for $119 + tax, free shipping. Save an extra $5 by signing up for the newsletter at the bottom of the Home Depot page.

Also, they have the 2997-22 Combo Kit (Fuel Hammer Drill + Fuel Gen 3 Impact) + Router for $349 + tax, free shipping. This is even lower than if you would hack both the 2997-22 and the Router separately. 2997-22 can be hacked for ~$266.22 and the Router can be hacked for $99.50, coming out to $365.72. This is $349.

I got my backpack vac for $199 a few months ago and I love it, but I think I'd love it even more if it had casters - any links to where you've seen others adding casters? Thanks!

I bought this. Been looking at an oscillating tool for a while but wanted Fuel and not huge. I’m going to be doing some home renovations in the spring and it should come in handy.

I have some Ryobi stuff. It isn't bad at all, especially these days. Compared to my Milwaukee stuff it is junk. There are some Ryobi tools that are totally worth it. The glue gun is one of them, it is great. Some Milwaukee stuff is way overpriced so buying somethin else for those makes a lot of sense (the heat gun comes to mind). My Ryobi impact driver is good but my Milwaukee is so much better that I barely ever pick up my green one anymore.

Bottom line, buy the best tool you reasonably can afford.

Thanks. Im looking at the Ryobi 18g brad nailer kit, the 3" cutoff tool kit, and the router/planer combo. After a handful (if that) of projects, they would probably sit for a while. The Milwaukee versions would cost 2x as much to acquire. Decisions decisions...

I bought a kit of 2 Ryobi nailers. I thought they would be great for doing a trim project. The one thing I will say is that the larger nailer was so big that I wasn't able to tack down the base board molding where I wanted to so I had to switch to the smaller nailer. Other than that, the tools functioned flawlessly.

The reviews aren't terribly great for them, but you can buy adapters to use M18 batteries with Ryobi tools. From my understanding, they're designed to fit both DeWalt and Milwaukee batteries, and that design is a compromise for the fitment of Milwaukee.

I've been thinking about buying one to try out, and do the same as you with a few Ryobi tools in the mix where Milwaukee is priced too high.

the ryobi brad nailer in reviews came out better the the rigid and older milwauke, i have one and am real happy with it.

Check www.directtoolsoutlet.com before you buy. They have some pretty good deals going right now. It's all factory blemished or "certified pre owned." Everything I've bought from them has looked brand new other than pre owned stuff being engraved to show it being a refurb.

Anybody seeing a deal on a 2732 circular saw? I believe I saw it at 170 or so from international a day ago, but it was sold out. I only have 5.0 batteries, so I'm not opposed to the 21 kit either. Just think I'd be dollars ahead with the tool only.

Thanks! I checked it out, and its only a $20 difference vs the bare tool at HD, so I think Id go HD on that one

Anyone happen to know when this sale ends?
I thought it was through most of December.

However, they have throttled back online availability of at least the 2x 4.0ah/bag/charger kit. So it is a little more effort to close some deals.

Anyone know if an in-store purchase of these free-tool deals will ring up automatically? Or do you have to go through a luxurious conversation with store staff?

Further, how much ID do they ask for if you're paying cash and returning in-store?
