The website is the biggest pain in the ****. I was able to find the 3/8 mid torque but not the half inch. So what I did was type in the search bar:
MIL 296220 and it came up as 213. Don’t know why but I wasn’t asking questions lol. I asked a rep about the rebate and he said you can file for the rebate afterwards. Tried doing it on the Milwaukee website but it asks for a zip code and I ordered online. Need to call Milwaukee and plan to tom

Just to make sure we are talking about the same tool. K was talking about the gen 2 mid torque. someone found this item on clarks for 169, to which I responded that shipping to NY is 18 so for the mid torque, it was a better on Napa. The only reason the backpack vac was mentioned was the fact I used the vac as an item to see how much Clark’s would charge shipping.
Apologize for the confusion

Ok. I asked about Napa & the vac, because they post made it sound like it was $213 there, and a free battery. I was thoroughly confused / frustrated trying to find. And I blame most of that on Nappa's site.

I do not understand why you can't type the *actual* model #, and get the result you expect. This happens on Napa or HD's site. That should be the only term that pulls exactly what you want up, but often never is. I tried searching for new m18 rover by model on HD, and got the rolly Hex light as a the result. Napa is a little better after figuring out to remove the space, but seems unnecessary.

it's mighty frustrating when you have $500 - $600 of Milwaukee to buy and one of the items doesn't match the list (2854-22). But the bare tool version of it (2854-20) does.

Yup. I was in the same boat. Ended up buying the 2854-20 on its own from Clark and calling it a day. Honestly, probably better this way since my wife is already on my case about buying more tools :lol_hitti :lol_hitti :lol_hitti

Was also annoyed some of the things (like the 2724 Blower and the framing nailers) that I could actually use were excluded.

Anyone know of any deals on the framing nailers? Bare tool or combo kit?

I'd like to have it be that simple. Dad needs an impact. I bought him one for his b-day last year, but he has a serious case of analysis paralysis. And he's convinced going 3/8 is the way to go vs. 1/2. And he is distracted by the Ridgid warranty.

He has the Makita oval 9.6 drill still. Even bought a new battery in the last 9mo. for it. It's like herding cats. :willy_nil But I'd love to get him into a charger and couple batteries with whatever we end up with. The $150 off $500 would be ideal . . . if only.

I looked at the Clark deals today too. It's refreshing to see good prices offered without chasing down partial returns, rebates etc.

Home depot will price match clarks online prices if you want to buy it at a known store and get it now. Just a little info. Homedepot will price match same stuff you find online. Not the +10% but atleast match it online.

Seems to be store dependent - I have had great difficulty getting them to price match Lowes at the HD across the street. I have had even more difficulty getting online to price match anything, they insist they will only price match regular price, not sale price or a discount.

I noticed the Clark Tool deals have now been cross posted over to slickdeals. Given the unusually low prices they have listed and considering Milwaukee seems to have MAP/MSP pricing policies, I wouldn't be surprised to see the prices jump. Bummer.

I have a tracking number from Clark’s, but UPS doesn’t have it in their system yet.

Ordered Saturday, I think.

Has anyone found a way to show only the results for the Milwaukee buy more save more promo on the hand tools & accessories? I have seen some packout pieces, pliers, tapes with the promo but would like to know all items included.

Damn, really. I was leery of posting it here for that reason, but was hoping the guys here would keep it here and not blow it up on slickdeals.

It's unfortunate, but on a forum this big there are tons of lurkers. Could also have been done by a regular I suppose...a lot of people pass through.

Hopefully it doesn't mean the end of the deals!

There are also members here who regularly cross post to SD, probably to get the reputation points there. It's unfortunate but don't know of a way to prevent those who will not follow the rules from ruining for everyone else.

Fwiw Clark’s has been pretty responsive and seemingly helpful via email. If there’s something you are interested in that isn’t on their site it might be worth asking. That’s what I did. I can tell you that some of those items were quoted at similar pricing you’d find elsewhere but some are good. Seems like a nice option for us going forward maybe.

This is why I asked you to PM me a link. Once the cat was out of the bag I also helped blow it by posting two more links here.

Tools deals aren't like shampoo deals that can be replicated thousands of times. Depending on the route to get them, deals can be limited by supply or can be limited after the retailer sees a huge influx of demand.

Trying to keep the deals contained to their respective areas seems best (like here). Once slick deals gets it, all the resellers hope on, and anyone else that thinks they need one. Nothing wrong with the latter half, but it takes away from the tool guys that would benefit more from the deal

To 2many's point, I think also Ryan/GJ gets a benefit from the referrals from the links here.

So if any of us post it on SD, they get that benefit and GJ does not. Leaving the link here benefits GJ and all of us who enjoy the site.

Taking the link here and posting to SD to me could be grounds for getting banned. I am sure not all will agree.

I totally agree. If somebody is gracious enough to share a deal here, the deal should stay here.

You folks that are getting tools from Clark's, how fast did you get shipping notification? I ordered on the 5th and haven't seen anything yet.

Within about 2 hours. I'm guessing your item isn't in stock. My Mid-Torque was delivered earlier today.

FYI I ended up calling Clark’s to place my order because some items hadn’t ever been on their site and others had fallen off (presumably because of inventory levels but no idea). I was even able to order the m12 under hood light. I won’t post the price but while it wasn’t the 139 previously quoted, it was better than I’ve seen so I went for it :). Shame on you guys ha. If there’s something you want I wouldn’t hesitate to call.

M18 Rocket at $199 with free 5.0 and M12 Rover at $79 with free 2.0 from RedTools looks pretty good.
