Thanks, didnt catch that. I dont need the other tools, I need the sprayer and a extra tank. Sprayer is 299 or under everywhere, just trying to find a better deal.

Don't know if anyone is looking for M12 batteries. The batteries on this deal are my favorite on the M12 platform.

The HD 6.0 and 3.0 for $99 and 2 6.0 and 2 3.0 for $194 were out of stock online for a good while. I got a notice they were back in, the 2 of each deal went quick, but the $99 deal still available, but I would act fast.

Does anyone know of a sweet deal on the M12 compact cutoff tool and/or kit Model# 2522-21XC? I check the Home Depot near me about every other week and have never seen it on sale. Occasionally check Grainger and Fastenal and they are usually higher.

Best I saw today was the tool only (2522-20) for $99 or the kit (2522-21XC) for $149 at Clark's Tool.

I actually ordered that kit previously, at that price, and some other Milwaukee tools from them.

A nice kit to have in the toolbox. Used within it's means it works well. I haven't used it much yet, just for some aluminum trim for which it worked well. It's not super powerful like a full size cutoff tool but handy for smaller stuff. Nice and compact too. There may be some other threads by users that have put it through the paces that can speak to it's limits or check out an online review or video. Just FYI, here's one quick review:

I agree with this post, particularly the "within its means" part. For me, this is my go-to tool when I want to make straight and accurate cuts in thinner materials, like Plexiglas, sheet metal, or small diameter bolts (<1/8-inch diameter). Its form factor is much like a circular saw, so excellent accuracy is easily attainable if you take your time. For thicker materials, though, this tool will be easily outmatched and you will need something more robust, such as an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel.

I'm looking for a deal on the M12 Hatchet if anyone sees one. Seems to be retail everywhere.

Thanks

If you have Fuel Hackzall, buy a carbide pruning blade, and call it good if you can. Yes the hatchet is slightly faster when you find the sweet spot, but I still didn't like it. Even tried it with the pole saw bar, and while better, I found I liked the hackzall better. I can cut through roots/dirt and not worry, though usually the full size sawzall is out at that point.

The smell of the cut though is better with the hatchet though. :D

I've been looking for a while and couldn't find the 'tool-only' for less than retail ($179) so I bowed to ebay. Not my preferred method but I did find a whole kit (2527-21) from a high-rated seller, new, for $189 shipped. It was either that or shell out retail for tool-only. Won't recommend it but I have no complaints.

Thanks, I bought a hatchet kit with battery off ebay this morning. Just knowing that they never go on sale was good enough for me to pull the trigger.

My wife is trying to keep the bonfire fed while I'm clearing a lot with the real chainsaw. I gave her a non fuel hackzall last week with a pruning blade and it was painful to watch.
I realize the fuel version would be better but I'm not sure by how much.

Eons. That brushed hackzall is good for PVC and if you find the right attachment, an electric toothbrush. It is anemic otherwise. One of a few tools that shouldn't be sold anymore.

One of my gripes was sharpening the chain. It's of course not going to get the use as a regular chainsaw, but when it comes time to sharpen you can file one maybe two teeth before you have to rotate, and there's not a lot of room.

I've never been mr super safety, though I wear my eye protection, and face shield if using full size, but I think the hackzall is much safer to use. It can also get into tighter spots because of the small blade.

Also just more uses for the hackzall. I've used mine for grout removal, scraping, and cleaning with the Spyder brush attachments.

International Tool dropped the price of the Switch Tank Kit to $309, from $399. Not great, as you can get two tool-only for $400, but try to mention some kind of deal/new price.

I haven't seen it on sale frequently but honestly I think the soldering iron is not a great tool. Then again maybe that is because of what I'm usually soldering. I think that is the only M12 tool where I could complain about the thickness of the handle. Most of the stuff I solder is fairly tiny and I'd want something that has a nice tiny and controllable end on it like my Weller station. I guess for soldering in the field if it is something not too small it would probably work fine but I just can't see it for the kind of stuff I do.

Agreed that the M12 soldering gun is my least used M12 tool. Doesn’t seem to have enough heat for my typical use on 14-16 gauge wire. My $20 chinesium soldering station is superior in every way except portability.

I agree how the Milwaukee soldering iron lacks power for wires 12 GA and larger but I just did a ton of wiring on my fummins swap and it was amazing to use in the engine bay and on any tight spots where you can't bench solder. I guess it matters what kind of soldering you do.

Forget the Milwaukee soldering iron. Get a Miniware TS80P, and if you need it to be be "cordless," just use a quick charge usb c battery pack. This will outperform most bench top soldering stations.
