I'm pretty sure the nailers are identical and you can just change the magazine to 30°. Maybe something to consider. I'm looking to do the same thing since I have crates of different nails but dont use a nailer enough to justify both styles.

I ordered a 3D printed ac adapter holder off Etsy that mounts on the side.
Do you have a link to it? I've already modded mine to put the ac adapter inside the fan but I'm curious what that holder looks like, 1st time I've heard of it.

I also ordered two of the power cord holders for the toolboxes to get free shipping.

Thanks. So simple yet so functional! I'll have to look around their store to see if there's anything I'd like. Man, I really need to buy me a 3D printer!

Here's what I did to mine.

I really don’t want to return it, I just want the 30 degree model for exchange. That’s what I was hoping for

You can tell them you want to do an exchange, but HD has trained their associates to interpret 'exchange' as swapping for the same exact item (and the ones who really know what they are doing, dont need a receipt for that), otherwise everything is a return, then buying something else.

So because they are two different items, a return & purchase would need to occur.

I have seen information on this, and it is possible. I'd rather have 2 guns after having to buy the 2nd magazine part, and inconvenience of swapping parts, but if you knew you would be sticking with a particular size for a while, then would be worth considering.

In the past, the videos on how to do this have been taken off Youtube. Might take a little hunting, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's in the Milwaukee Addiction thread.

Does the M12 inflator kit w/ 2.0 + charger ever drop below $99, or should I give up waiting? Would be lovely to have for autox.

@abt12 Not sure about "with charger", but I feel like I do occasionally see a deal from HD that includes the M12 inflator with a 2.0 for $79 or $99...
Yeah charger is a nice to have. I see that particular kit w/charger at $99 all over but not below.

For what it's worth, the charger that comes with this kit is practically free if you're looking for one. It's an M12-only charger, and guys are practically giving them away because they want M18 compatibility too.

I bought the milwaukee cordless inflator kit for $83 at home depot last month or so when it was priced $83 in socal locations.. but now its back up to $99...

I thought I wouldn't be using it that much...but man, I love this thing.. No more air hose, or gauges, small and the gauge is pretty accurate too... Its got a screw on head connector to the schrader valve, way easier then the chuck lever push ones...Its easy and great on motorcycle...Also has different inflator adaptor like presta valve, air up balls too...I keep it in my car along with my m12 stubby with axle nut socket sets and I am ready to use it fast...

I have used in my driveway to air up all my cars to tire spec...Tell you it was so easy and painless... I told my neighbor construction milwaukee guy and he bought one right away.
I think every milwaukee m12 guy should get one... It uses the battery pretty fast...but I have a m12 6ah and its ready to go for a while... I don't even use my 30 gallon air compressor in garage anymore..

I bought it because I had a flat in a remote area and the spare tire was flat, no air pressure... and no cell service in that area....and no inflator in my kit....
After that, I swore I won't be caught dead like that,,,,***** when no cell service in remote areas and no AAA.... Guess I relied too much on AAA that I didn't think I need road tire kit.

CPO outlets has 15% off a fair amount of M18 today:
Code: M18DAY

Not too many things I need but I did notice the router is included in the sale. It doesn't go on sale too frequently so might be a good time to grab one if you've been waiting.

Anyone have a list/screenshot of the M18 free tools for the 2.05.0 and (2) 6.0 starter kit deals?

I posted a list a bit back but not a screen shot. I think I even posted links. Should be a page or two back.

Anybody have any luck contacting Milwaukee customer service lately? I have an issue with a M18 9.0AH battery. Still under warranty, but I can't get anyone to answer the phone, return my call, or respond to an online request. I love the tools, but apparently there are problems with this particular battery model.

I just spoke to them yesterday concerning the same issue. No problem with the phone, although I was on hold a few minutes before speaking "live". The number I called is 1-800-729-3878.

If you want to warranty your battery go to the online portal and open an account then fill out their RMA form online. I know it seems like a pain but it is honestly way faster than calling in to 1800sawdust or whatever the number is.

Absolutely agree. I had an M18 12.0 battery replaced and my 2804 hammer drill repaired this way. They pay shipping both ways and keep you informed of the repair progress every step of the way. One of the best warranty processes there is.

This particular battery is on the list of products excluded from their normal service channels. I just got an email from them with a form to fill out. Only took three days.....

I think my battery has a date code of 2017, even though I bought it mid-2019. Three year warranty. Hopefully I'm not screwed....

If you have the receipt that shows the date of purchase, the manufacture date on the unit doesn't matter.

Well, I should revise that statement. It is the case, as long as it was purchased from an authorized Milwaukee reseller. If you bought it from Amazon or a random on ebay it isn't true. Even if you buy it on ebay, if you bought it from an authorized reseller, they should honor the warranty.
