F$%K me. Missed the m12 light deal. Put it in my cart. Got distracted with kids and work and then went to sleep.
While we deal with the recession in real-time the deal will likely be back sooner than later

luckily patience is the key with these Milwaukee deals.
I'm not sure how much battery prices will drop though.
Didn't pull the trigger on the battery deal a while back for a M18 12.0 and 8.0 HO for $199 and doubt we will see it again.

OMG, it finally happened. The under hood light kit went on sale. If anyone doesn't have one of these and is thinking about buying one, NOW IS THE TIME! I have one and I'm thinking about buying this to have a second one:

Also, the red Dremel kit is on is on sale for 79, I don't have one of these yet so I will shortly:

Thanks for the post Hubmonkey!
So for those of us who missed out...what was the sale price on that?

And that was with charger and battery — but can’t remember the battery size.

Bought a M12 right angle grinder with the BMSM deal. Is this a good deal on batteries or should I wait?

The first link for the 3.0 small batteries is a decent price. The second link for the large older 3.0 batteries is a hard pass for me when 6.0 are available in the same size.

I’d keep an eye on the Home Depot special buy of the day for the 3.0 and 6.0 battery combo.

Thank you. Is that deal for the CP3.0 or the larger XC3.0? I like the size of the CP3.0 due to not wanting to add anymore size to the tool coming from m18 line.

Right, but is it worth waiting on a different deal?
The 3ah compact is a good price, $40 would be ideal. The 2x 3ah XC is not a good price.
However with your 3" cut off tool (not an angle grinder), you will want to use an XC style battery as it has more available power to this tools, which is lower hungry. I really only use mine with a 4 or 6ah (3ah XC is a waste of space to me if I can have a 6 in it's place).
The fat bottom battery hasn't ever hindered me using the tool.

Saw this little light for 60 bux with 2 batteries on SD:
445 Lumens LED REDLITHIUM USB Rover Pocket Flood Light Kit
They also give you an extra free battery with it, so it's the light and 3 batteries.

This is great, I have the 2160-20 800 Lumens flashlight and the battery seems to be dying on me just from overuse, can't hold a charge like she used to, so this plus all the extra batteries will be useful. Thanks Rusty.

Are you sure you get 3 batteries in this deal? I think it is only 2?
You have to select it as a free gift.

EDIT: this also opens the opportunity to be super cheap and just return the free battery for extra savings on the rover flashlight alone.

Holy ****, I didn't even see that and almost bought it with the 2 batteries. I was in checkout but forgot to click through and finish the purchase. Went back and you are right, you get 3 batteries and the light. That is a great deal and these are the same batteries the head lamps take so now I have a spare one of those. Is there a stand alone charger for these batteries? Charging them through the head lamp takes FOREVER.

Nope, there's an idea for an extra accessory for us to buy. But don't blame the headlamp, blame the cable. I sincerely have no idea how in this year, the year of our lord 2022, Milwaukee is still using Micro USB cables when everyone and their dog is already on USB-C.

Started one or two weeks back. Way too many canceling half their orders lately. 😁

They have two external chargers. Though I don't believe they charge any faster than when in the device charging.
One was the original large chonky charger, and relatively useless as that's all it did. Then they released a power source that is much smaller, and doubles as a USB device charger.

But yes to USB-C. Should be a crime to still release micro-USB devices. I just received a light cube (stays lit for set amount of time depending on side set), and it came with both USB-C and micro-USB charging inputs, which besides on a battery bank, was a first for me seeing.

Seems like the included cable is 2+ amp rated. Are you using a 2+ amp rated USB charger? That could be the reason it takes longer to charge. I have a bunch of old 500 mA chargers that would take forever to charge modern day things

The charger I'm using supports 2.1A per USB-A port and has enough jam to power a laptop from the USB-C port. Still takes FOREVER to charge the damn headlamp.

Someone was asking about a deal on a caulk gun the other day. The M18 is on HD special buy today:

Thanks - picked up a Hackzall, w/ 2x XC6.0Ah batteries. They have the same promotion w/ the XC5.0 for $199, but I figured I have all 5.0, might as well have two 6.0.

Well there goes another 200$. Just bought the chain saw this AM, now I am in for this + the impact.
I've been pretty happy with the runtime for my 6.0 batteries with the weed whacker and pole saw, hope they do as well on the chain saw.

that seems to be the normal. I wanted to get QuickJacks for years, then was waiting for them to finally come out with the TL version. The finally did, had a sale (barely) and I bought. A couple months later, they had a much better sale. THey're still in the damn box as I haven't had time!
