Taken from Slickdeals:

Really great deal over at ACME Tools. Buy a two pack of Milwaukee M18 XC6.0Ah batteries and get a free bare tool, all for $224.10.

Bare tools include: M18 FUEL 3/8" Compact Impact Wrench Friction Ring Bare Tool, M18 FUEL HACKZALL Reciprocating Saw, Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ 4-1/2" / 5" Grinder Bare Tool, or M18 FUEL Compact Router (Bare Tool).

Link is here

Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t see where the bare Tool is included 🤔

It didn't work for me either. I ordered the batteries and the tool I wanted - the router - and paid for both. I'll see what customer service does with it in the morning.

It's two different deals, and the free tools are different. I can get the 5.0 deal to work, but the free tools are a multitool (which I own) or a sander (which I don't need).

I'd buy the 6.0 deal, as I've been looking for a good deal on a Hackzall or router. That still shows as being active, but doesn't work (can't pick a tool, even in the cart).

Ordered the 2 x 5 Ah M18 battery for $199 and selected the Gen 2 Rover dual power 4000 lumen as the bonus. HD has the the Gen 2 Rover for $169 tool-only for comparison. At this time the 5 Ah batteries x 2 are adequate for my usage. When I go for the chainsaw or EV mower the 12Ah will be needed.

I just purchased the m18 2 gallon vac. At $99 it was a no brainer and I love it. Great size and function.

M18 heat gun tool only is down to $99.

Might need to include your store #. Still showing $149 for me. Bot that you can trick shipping anymore.

Last day of the buy 2 tools, get free battery in store. Heat gun being one of them

Deal of the day has Milwaukee, including the under hood light and the caulk gun.

Pro buy of the week also has several Milwaukee kits.

I don’t know if this is a “good enough deal” but I wanted to share anyway.

Router with 2X 6.0s seems like an ok deal for those who missed out on the Acme deal. Backing into things, does the router ever get below $150?

Many thanks. I'll wait for another Bogo as I don't need the batteries right away and definitely don't need another charger.

2 x 6.0's deals with "free" tool at ToolUp.

I might be in for the router @ $130 and I don't have to deal with another rapid charger or BOGO return.

Looks like they also had a m12 hatchet deal that sold out. I see one of those finally in my future to dual wield with my M18 hackzall.

the sad thing is, that it could have been sold out when it went live. If it's programmed to be part of the Buy of the Day, but no stock, it still shows as part of it. Doesn't make too much sense
I check every day at 4 AM when I'm on break at work, it's maddening how many items show out of stock regardless of the category.

Where are you seeing the router for $130? I only see the batteries plus tool combo deal ($249), and a bare tool offer of $159 for the router.

Are you assigning a value of $119 to the batteries and subtracting that from the combo deal?

Funny the router deal says "grinder" although the picture and the "details" say router.

They need a copy editor....

I noticed that as well.

ACME has a generic 10% off "everything" today.

The packout drawers are on "sale" and you can apply the 10% off to that price as well. Also a promo for a free packout crate if you spend enough. If you want a 3 drawer and a 2 drawer buy them as individual items, it is slightly cheaper than the pack that comes with 1 each.

Thanks, @Odd-job, thought I was missing something obvious.

I can't wrap my head around battery values. The prices always seemed high, but have really taken off in the past year or two, including the "sale" prices.

$10 an amp hour for m18 seems to be a decent rule of thumb although would argue there probably should be some delineation between HO and XC as HO should have a slight premium in my mind.

Not sure if there is an M12 rule of thumb. For some reason those are always more expensive on per amp hour basis despite being lower voltage and no electronics in the batteries. The Milwaukee profit margins must be higher on those although the knockoffs seem to be more equivalent substitutes.

Pulled the trigger on the trim router deal :)
